That man is a fuckin' poet. Check out his book if you like his music (can't go wrong with any of his CDs)

"And we, inhabitants of the great coral of the Cosmos, believe the atom (which still we cannot see) to be full matter, whereas, it too, like everything else, is but an embroidery of voids in the Void, and we give the name of being, dense and even eternal, to that dance of inconsistencies, that infinite extension that is identified with absolute Nothingness and that spins from its own non-being the illusion of everything."

Shroomism - check out the film he made, it's called SLAM, it stars him as a poet who sells drugs just to get by and ends up getting sent to the slammer. The movie will give you chills - I just gave myself chills remembering the final image.

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

I picked up his self-titled album today and I would recommend to anyone who likes to-the-point poetry that flows over hard, tight beats. It feels like Saul is out to change the world with his words, and along with the likes of Zack de la Rocha and Serj Tankian, he is definitely capable. For myself, Saul comes off with a very honest yet fed-up attitude.

From the song "Grippo":

As an alternative, we will be confiscating weed supplies and replacing them with magic mushrooms in hopes of helping niggas see beyond their reality. Stop. Give my regards to Brooklyn.

Buy this album.
