 Shroom ID Plz

These were found while walking in grassland, sheep shit was around, but none of them seemed to be growing out of it. It wasn?t very wet and I was surprised that there were any shrooms, so if anyone could help id them I?d appreciate it as I couldn?t positively. I?m taking some prints now if they are needed let me know.

I believe that at least the 2 small ones are the same, but the other one is alot bigger.
I think the three dark ones are all the same, 2 of the caps got damaged in my pocket as I wasn?t on a hunt I didn?t have a bag.

The dark three print blue/purple, any chance they might be libs? (I've never seen them in the flesh, apart from being darker than I thought they would be they seem to fit the description).
I'll print the others in a min, but I'm not too bothered about them as I don't think they're active. I can't find them in my guide though.

They appear to be some speices of Panaeolus.

Yeah, now I've looked at another guide (of active species in the UK) I know they definately aren't libs. They do seem to be like Panaeolus (from seeing pics of other Panaeolus in the book), but its not in my book, so I guess its not active.

The dark ones look like a picture of mjshroomer's that I saw, which was of caerulipes. The lighter ones look like Panaeolus Foes or something. I'm not very certain on either of these opinions so don't take my word strongly.

Sorry I can't get any closer pics now, they are too shriveled up. I'll go back to the field that I found them in when it rains again and take a camera with me.
I've looked at all the pics that I could find on mjshroomer's site and it doesn't seem the same as any of them. The sporeprint that was blue/purple yesterday has now turned black, is this usual? (forgot to say that its the dark shrooms I'm talking about).
The light coloured shroom's print looks black, but even overnight it hasn't dropped many spores.
I'm excited about the field I found these in and think that some liberty caps might grow in that area when it's abit wetter, its the perfect location where I can pick without paranoia but still with easy access.

I wound not discount the darker shrooms in the pics, libs can be quite dark, they lighten in the sun. Better pictures are required, but they look like the right size and shape.

Thats what I've had in the back of my mind all along. I know better pics are required, and next time I'm going to get them. If I order a battery for my camera soon then I'll take it with me next time. Its sunny and hot here today, so it might be a while.
BTW, do all mushrooms smell roughly the same? Its just they did smell like cubensis I've grown before.

I am very surprised no one else has suggested those could be libs. I think some of the experts in mushroom Identification, are a little wary to ID a shroom unless they are close to a 100% certain.
I know some people who claim to be able to identify shrooms based on their distinct smell, but I would be a little wary of that one. Although many shrooms smell different, many shrooms also seem to smell the same.

Hey Dude,
No liberty caps in that collection i can tell you that for sure.
The three darker mushrooms are Panaeolus campanultus var. sphinctrinus. (i may have spelled that wrong but that is what they are).
Not active.
-The spore prints should be black in color.
The other three mushrooms are interesting..
I wouldnt wager a guess on those until you get a spore print.

Like I said before, the dark ones had purple prints, although they seem more black after leaving them over night.
The lighter ones aren't printing very well at all so I can't tell.
What I'll do is take some pics of them and enhance them to show their true colours, I'll post results later.

Yes it does look like a hay cap, which are very common in the libs habitat. Once you have found some libs you will be able to see the difference - hay caps have darker stem and different looking gills but size and shape are very similar.

Even enhanced the spore print is still black so looks like you were right. The only thing that still bothers me is that when it was first printed (for half hour) it was a definate blue/purple colour, otherwise it fits the hay caps description - perhaps I was seeing things????
As for the other ones, well still waiting to enhance its hard as they are very light, I'll have another go and post results.
At least this shows the field has the right conditions for lib caps, I wasn't looking for them when I found these as it was quite dry, I'll just look again when it rains.

Remi where abouts in the UK do live? So far ive seen no mushrooms at all, saying that it hasnt rained here in ages, kind of strange for british weather.

I'm in the north of england. I've seen plenty of fungal activity, although mostly in woodland, there is plenty in grassland, it just hasn't been of the right kind. I think in the next few weeks I'm going to see loads of the right kind though

looks like panaeolus sphinctrinus and psilocybe semiglobata to me.
but its hard to tell with those pics.
if im right then they are not particularly edible or psychoactive
