paintballing

has anyone ever gone paintballing on acid? I imagine 4 tabs and well....paintball guns would be pretty cool/frightening!

I imagine deeply trying to figure out why i like inflicting pain with tiny paintballs, then staring at a tree and getting ambushed. I've read several reports of paintballing on mushrooms.. theyre rather mixed good/bad.

But hey. Its an experience eh? :shrug:

yeah i imagine it to be a mix of totally engrossing and terrifying at the same time. agreed on the staring at tree stuff though! maybe some cute bugs too (i guess it wouldn't be botanical garden paintballing but hey why not, that would be crazy! or maybe even jungle paintball! - remember, keep hydrated.)

Greatest fucking sport ever, I played tournament and actually played in the World Cup. I was completely addicted to paintball for years and still play pretty regularly.

There's a world famous 24 hour game out here that about 500 - 600 people play in. I've done that on Mushrooms before :laugh:

paintballing is a lot of fun... so is tripping, but the combination doesnt sound that great. maybe a small dose would be fun.. but tripping balls in the middle of an intense paintball battle deosnt sound like a good combo.

How much should someone spend on a gun? Are the ones made by Spyder any good? I had one like ten years ago, it was decent.

Im looking to get back into it.

There's one thing I know a lot about, and is paintball guns:smirk: Spyders are crap. If you are going to buy a gun, I suggest saving a couple more hundred and get a better quality gun. In my years of playing, I have spent over 1000 dollars on my autococker and add-ons! Autocockers have the best range and accuracy,angels are also great. but autocockers are much cheaper than angels. You can spend 300-600 bucks and get a really nice autococker. Paintball is a lot of fun when you have your own gun and equipment... there is nothing worse than having to rent a crappy gun and used camouflage jumpsuit.If you are interested in buying a gun, I can help you find a good one online.

I'm seriously looking into it, i cant see myself spending more than the 3-4 hundred range on the gun though, since i'd still have to buy gear.

I remember Autococker from back in the day, do you know of a decent one in that price range? I want something that wont make me want to go out and buy a new gun if i get really into it.

Fuck Spyders dude, it's all electronic and 15 bps now which is crazy. Dude honestly look to spend about $500 on gear all together because you're going to want a $300 gun, a $100 compressed air system, a $60 mask, and a $40 pack. Dude consider getting a used gun as well, if you kick it at your local field you're bound to find some good deals.

What's killer is that the price of paintball has dropped by almost half from a few years ago.

Dude go check out pbnation.com, paintball's equivalent of the Shroomery.

Dude honestly now technology has advanced to the point where after about $300 everything is pretty much the same. It's fucking ridiculous how quick this sport has leaped even if it's starting to die.

Also Autocockers are dead as disco. Even though I'm on a personal boycott of their company I'd recommend getting a Ion or an electronic marker from Smart Parts. Check stuff out here www.pbgear.com also you could check out www.pbreview.com even though I don't know how much I trust the info or community there.

Right now I'm personally using a Bob Long Vice because I really dig Bob Long markers and have for about six years now but it's all good. I have something like 30 paintball markers lol. But yeah. :laugh:

Also tripping while playing paintball is awesome, I've played paintball a couple of times and mushrooms and it's pretty cool. Then again I'm so comfortable with the game and it's like a second nature to me (even though I still suck after eleven years lol) so it's not scary or intense. But dude for me it was like being Captain Willard at the end of Apocalypse Now.

Edit: Lol Sorry for all the "dudes" when talking about paintball I revert into an excited 13 year old kid.

How old are the cats at the field usually? Is this manly something that teenagers do? (like 13/14 yr olds?)

Just doing a little research, i can see that the sport has changed drastically since my day. Is everything full auto now? Back in the day, full auto was banned from the field i went too. lol.

Oh, and WTF is a paint ball marker?

I like paintballing, its good fun, but I am not so sure I would wanna do it tripping. I think there are better activities to do while tripping, however I suppose everyone is different.

Getting wasted and playing paintball would be fun though.

If I was tripping and tried to play paintball I would probably be so distracted and it would be a waste of time and money probably.
