One time I was driving to the movies to meet a friend right after work and I was freakin starving... I ended up having to work late so I was cutting it close so I didn't have time to stop somewhere... and I was pissed cuz I knew I was going to end having to pay $8 for a hotdog or some crap at the theater... It was during evening traffic on a Friday night too, so I exit the highway and I'm sitting WAAAAAY back on the off ramp and I can see the chic-fil-a cow waving at everyone... and I was SO PISSED b/c chic-fil-a sounded sooooo good and I didn't have time to get it. Well, the traffic lights cycled and I got a little closer to the intersection and I noticed the cow was walking up to cars waiting at the light... there was an employee with the cow carrying around this basket... and I was like "Great, now they're gonna want me to donate money, I hope I don't get caught at this next red light cuz I don't have any change and I'll seem like a bitch for not donating to the children with cancer from abused homes charity"

Sure enough, I end up getting caught at the red light, like the second car back, right next to the cow... "Don't make eye contact" I thought as the cow and the employee went to to car in front of me... then I see the employee talking and the driver nod... then I saw the employee reach in the basket and hand the driver something in a foil package.

That's right!!

They were giving away FREE chic-fil-a sandwiches at the motherfucking intersection!!

I was so excited when the cow came to my car. I felt like a little kid LOL

The sandwich was BOMB, as expected from chic-fil-a

Why the fuck is May 15th the day to give out free shit? Is there relevance to this day that I am not aware of?

Dunkin Donuts is doing free small coffees from 10a-10p today. (Which I ALSO don't consume.) It's like some fucking ploy--they only give away the shit I've made it a point to stop consuming.

Yeah, that's pretty much the consensus.

I have to admit, their so-called chicken was the last thing I gave up eating from there.

I give them marketing props for choosing to make the free sandwich the one with the most edible "meat substance" on their menu.

May 15th is the date all police departments have to destroy drug evidence in cases that have closed.

McDonalds gives their illegal Mexican workers an extra $1 an hour to dumpster dive and retrieve aforementioned evidence... then they add cocaine and heroin to the batch of sandwiches that are to be given away free.

Once you eat one you're instantly addicted, and will come back for more... even though the sandwiches you actually pay for do not give you that same feeling as the first high.

Some of the statements above may not be true.

EPIC FAIL.

And I just remembered, chic-fil-a ALWAYS has free chicken sandwich coupons floating about, year-round. Check your bag next time you go to chic-fil-a, there's almost ALWAYS a free chicken sandwich coupon in there... plus check your Sunday papers and programs from your local sport's teams games. I even think one year they had schedules for the local minor league baseball team here sitting out on their counter... and if you picked up the schedule it had a free sandwich coupon.

Although chic-fil-a is the lesser of fast food evils, it's still fast food and I haven't had any since at least January. Maybe on my next "cheat day" I'll get chic-fil-a instead of QDoba.

I think I'll do something similar, I'll give out free butter and whole milk smoothies, they should have the same health effects as McDonalds foods.
