My Facebook is getting hacked...?

Every now and then I log on and my status has been changed to "Get free bud delivered to you now! Using freebud.com!".

wtf is this shit? and how do i get rid of it? it's also writing on people's walls saying the same shit.

any help would be great.

Change you password and download Ad-Aware as you've been phished (entered your details into a fake facebook login) and as a result you probably are infested with spyware as well.

Decent anti-virus software such as NOD32 (and a a serial) would certainly help, as well :smile:.

You might have downloaded a keylogger, some of which cannot be removed with standard anti-virus software. In that case, changing your password won't do a thing. Cepheus' advice will probably do the trick, though.

how would downloading a keylogger have anything to do with whats goin on with his facebook? that makes no sense. i dont think you have any idea what a keylogger is...

I.e. someone logged his un & password (via a keylogger) and then logged in with it :shrug:

for some reason i read the first post wrong. i thought there were ads being posted as comments from him, about bud. ive had friends that have had a virus that posts comments on everyones pages with links to the same virus. all it took was a change of password.

Yeah, that's what he's saying. A keylogger can/will record every keystroke you type (and log it).

id delete all the facebook apps youve installed. if you notice it happening on other sites, reformat and change passwords.
