some of my buddies just came back from LA and their boss was allowed to posses up 8 oz's at a time. she was all kinds of fucked up, addicted to anything and everything.

11 plants, not to exceed 100 square feet of canopy, and
1/2 pound (8oz) dried cannabis. That's city limits...
County limits are different, but I know you can transport the 8oz if all in one bag throughout the county.

No, but people who move to Cali with dreams of opening a dispensary could be in for some trouble. Or if you tried to make a large scale grow op you could be in trouble.

I thought of a question. If you have a medical card for mj can you job still fire you for a negative drug screen. I am sure that it should be ok since it is a prescription.

That's been a bone of contention...I believe someone was fired for that, and he took it up in the courts....I think Arnold is trying to get it fixed, but right now the insurance companies( who run the show ) aren't recognizing Medical...Prolly cause it's still a Fed crime...

I remember reading the paper a few weeks/months ago and a guy got fired for mmj off duty, he just showed up positive on his random test, got fired, and he took it to court and the courts were on the businesses side.
Ive herd stories where people who take morphine and other opiates for prescription pain management even with a doctors note still get fired or dont get the jobs they apply for because all the company sees is a fail.... thank you zero tolernce policies.

youre more likely to get fired if youre working with machinery or in hazardous conditions where being impaired in any way could get you or someone else killed

and they see any positive as just the same as if u showed up stoned

I'm not sure the answer to that, but I know you can carry up to eight ounces of medicinal on you at any time. 8 oz = 1/2 lb.

Sure, you can work at a job...but any place that offers benefits (insurance) won't hire you without a clean test..
Also, here in Calif., anytime you are hurt on the job( workman's comp), you are subject to testing...a dirty test will result in No Coverage from W. Comp., and your boss can be fined. Leaving You to cover all med. bills...
Doesn't mean you will be tested, just that the option is there.
