Not even remotely true. I've known lots of hot goths. Dated a few of them.
As for fat wiccans... that is somewhat true. I have known lots of fat wiccans. I would say there are enough of them to make this a very valid observation. On the other hand, there are lots of skinny wiccans.
Another observation... a lot of the skinny wiccans I have known might either be considered "nerdy" or acted a little "eccentric."
Thus, my theory is that these groups of people tend to be ostracized socially, and therefore identify themselves as outcasts, or, viewed differently, unique individuals.
This gives them a great predilection toward a religion which tends to be outside of the mainstream. The theory mentioned earlier about choosing a religion that is empowering, seems like an interesting idea as well.
