the stations were i live each pump has a fucking lcd screen thats like super nice looking and has advertisements on it
and all the pumps are all nice n new

gas stations do not make very much money from gas at all, its even worse with the high prices for them...as people have to pay so much for gas, it makes them less likely to come in and buy a soda and a snack...there was an article on cnn about this very thing the other day.

gas companies are raking in the dough. Everyone from the guy working in the oil field to the refinery to the big wig oil companies...gas stations make a few cents per gallon...next to nothing

i'd be willing to bet a gas station makes less than 5% of the sale price of the gas.

Even if they make a small percentage off of the gas they still rake in the dough when you consider all the hundred if not thousands of gallons they sell everyday. That on top of selling beer and cigarettes too.

During rush hour gas station will even have a line at the pump
