Strain Comparison **UPDATE**
    #810614 - 08/11/02 09:30 AM (21 years, 7 months ago)

This may have been done many times before, but I will be comparing 4 strains side by side to see who performs the best. Colonization, pinning, ect ....

PF tek, medium grade vermiculite, organic BRF, and poo water.

I'm comparing:
Puerto Rican
Mazatapec
Plantasia Mystery
Creeper

I'll let anyone interested know how they are doing.

Yes, it was used in the PF jars. I took manure, from a local store, added some to spring water, mixed it up, and let it sit for a day. I strained it out by pouring it through a t-shirt. I have never used it before and I don't know if it will make a difference, but I figured what the hell right?

So far the Creeper and Plantasia are winning the race, they showed the first signs of growth, that was on day 3. I'm not planning on going into great detail, that is why I am posting here and not the grow log forum... for those of you who might say something regarding that.

germinate them all on agar and then isolate a good rhizomorphic strain of each - use these to innoculate at the same time and youll have a great comparison of the performance of all four strains...

I am in total awe of the speed in which the creeper and plantasia are ripping through these jars! Puertos are a close 2nd and Maz seem to be a lot slower. They are at about 70% covered in just 7 days!
