getting baseball tickets
    #8291345 -

The girlfriend and I are wanting to catch a D-backs game so im trying to hunt down cheap tickets without getting complete shit seats. Im thinking Baseline bleacher seats would be ideal.

Are there some good sites to find cheap tickets?

I hear the tickets for the D-bags are really cheap because nobody wants to watch that asshole Byrnes play.

Unless they are selling out every game, just wait til a midweek game, or when they play a team that no one really cares to see, then go see the scalpers. If its not sold out, and they know it wont be, you can almost always get tix for less then face value.

I was looking to grab a pair for a sunday game vs the mets but could settle for a monday or tuesday evening game against the phillies.

100.7 and 93.3 are always giving away tickets to D-backs games.

Listen to the radio and get those numbers on speed dial mang!

Not sure about after, at least in Toronto. Your best bet is to get there really early and you will probably be able to talk to some of the guys during batting practice and warmups

you should just walk up to the box office on the day of the game.....you could probably score some $15-$20 seats

Stub Hub is where I get my tickets. A bit pricey but I have never not been able to find tickets to a Phillies game. Diamondbacks may be different, but either way, the way the site works is simple. People post tickets on the site, when a buyer is found, the tickets are mailed from the owner, to the buyer (or stubhub, i forget and am too stoned to look it up) to you. Many sellers pick the option that decreases the cost the closer it gets to game day. I utilize this and buy them the day of. How that works is you order the tickets. Stubhub sends a confirmation email with an order number. When the seller drops the tickets off at the Stubuh location (usually a holiday inn or some hotel type place near the stadium) they will send you another email stating they have the tickets. You go down an hour before game time, pick em ip and youre good to go. Stubhub charges a 8% tax on all sales and a $15 handling fee for tickets, not each ticket, purchased the day of the game.

It can get pricey, but if you cant find good seats or have an urge to go to the game in a few hours, stubhub is perfect. I have never once checked my email to see if the tickets had arrived. I have never had a problem and used this service more than a handful of times.

Great I just got tickets to see the D-backs play host to the Phillies. Ended up paying 75$ for 2 tickets. Got baseline reserve seats pretty close to the field, row 12.

Oh I guess I have to wait for the seller to confirm that they still have the tickets.

I got the confirmation email this morning when I woke up and said the tickets were being 2 day Fed-EX to me.

I just got back from a shitty game between the Astros and Rockies. They were good seats and free from a supplier, but Christ, I couldn't root for either team.

Im going to be going to Phillies @ D-backs in a couple of weeks and Im a cubs fan. I can settle for those teams as long as they have a good game. I want to get Jimmy Rollins to sign a baseball during warm-ups if I can get his attention. It will be a nice Monday evening game.

Why not? The rockies hit some bombs, did you see Garret Atkins' homerun leave the stadium?

I'm from Michigan and working in Houston, so really I couldn't give a shit about any of the teams here.

That homerun was pretty awesome, but that game was over in the first inning.
