Finished B+ Grow with pics *WEED Pics Update 4/16/08*

*Update 4/16/08*

So I didn't have anywhere else to do this so I thought I'd post it here. I just chopped down my baby today, she was an unknown strain hidden mini-grow I've had goin for a little while now. I cut some nugs about 3 weeks ago, gave them a week dry and a 2 week cure and they were excellent - tasted like pineapples mixed with sour apple :grin:. Wet weight is 120 grams, but I'm not sure how that will translate to dry. Hoping for 3 ounces??

This camera SUCKS for close-ups, I might be able to get some good bud shots soon, it's way stickier and chrystal covered than these pictures show.






Some good ole' finger hash, too bad it's so blurry it looks like a coffee bean. How to: wear surgical gloves when trimming your mj, they will get COVERED in trichromes. Stick them in the freezer for 10 minutes, then easily scrape it off onto a plate. Using the pressure and heat from your fingers you can make a ball. SMOKE! Tastes sooo good, body and mindfuck! :drooling:

Whats up everyone, I've been around the shroomery for about 6 months and have around 8 indoor grows under my belt. My roomate just brought a camera from home so I thought I'd show everyone what I've been up to with my last grow

Strain: B+ (Multispore)
Spawn: 1 pint of WBS (I like to conserve)
Substrate: Pasteurized Horse Poo
Casing: Coco coir/Vermiculite
Wet Weight: 1475 grams
Dry Weight: See the bottom of this post VVV

That wasn't all of em, just the first pull


Crazy mushroom, two stems going into 1 cap!


Flipped the shroom over so you can see both sides


This is how it grew out of the substrate, only one stem being actually connected (sorry its blurray)







Just wanna say thank you to everyone here at the shroomery, you guys are amazing! Especially RR, Doc, Hyphae, and Roadkill for the excellent teks that helped out sooo much. THANKS!  :mushroom2:

p.s. i'll post the dry weight when i find out

*UPDATE 4/13/08*

Dry weight turned out to be less than I expected, 132 grams, still very happy though. Heres a pic o tha stash, with a little to-go baggie :grin:

Wow nice power supply what comp does it go to. Must be a good comp gaming computer maybe. Most of them have those.

Whats the power suply used for anyways and how did you get the fans to work. Those are computer fans right. I tried the fans i couldnt find out how to get it to turn on.

I orignally bought it for an indoor marijuana grow I had and just took all the fans out of the grow box to use for drying. Its a $50 mad dog power supply at best buy, all the fans are 90 cfm's so they've got some power, there was an awesome deal at my comp usa, i think like $20 bucks each, too bad they all closed i loved that place. You just hook the fans up to all the three pong pins the supply's got, and voila. Maybe your supply is more difficult or you didn't have the right pin connectors?? dunno if that helped.

Yeah, no deodorant is good for you, they've got aluminum zirconium somethin, causes alzheimers  :undecided: , i used to use this sea or sweat salt it worked all right i guess. i think the worlds gonna end before i get old anyays so no worries :rocket::crazy2:

Ye I definitley wouldnt worry.

Actually im in the computer engineering field.

And all power suplys are the same unless you got one from an old old computer i just didn't no were to connect the cables from the fans the baby fans.

Agreed, unless it's a very old PSU, which it's not, I can see the blue LED's meaning it's an ATX and you can only connect fans to the correct plugs on those PSU's. they all run off of a standard 12v molex connector for the most part. Nothing to worry about.

Let me know how those fans do on drying. I have an extra power supply lying around and get pc fans for practical nothing. Still on first grow, so you got me dreaming.

They work like a charm, like I said, they are 90 cfm's each (when you buy fans make sure to check that, some only have 15-30), and I've got 5 hooked up, with an oscillating fan on high power behind them. Spread em out on some newspaper and they're cracker dry in 3, 4 days max.

For some reason I've never had luck with damp rid or closet dehumidifiers so I just stay away from them...

Glad to inspire, I love this hobby! I've found it extremely easy to pick up and have had very few problems so far, just follow the teks and ask questions when you need to - should be smooth sailing. Good luck!

why did you buy all of those PC fans? i'm like astonished
that's quite a bit more expensive than buying a dehydrator, extremely more space use, etc, etc

Sweet haul man.

Check e-bay for a dehydrator you can get them dirt cheap, they'll dry allot quicker then using fans.

He may live in palm springs .........112 degrees  and almost a minus humidity level ,they would dry on the counter in 2 hours tops....:rolleyes:
