I honestly don't see why you take so much pride in all of this.

You said you work in IT, doing what exactly? I can only wonder how long someone with your mentality would last in the industry, defacing any and everything that you were given access to. Then blaming your boss for not hiring competent employees.

You login to a website with a user name and password and then modify a fully revertable wiki entry to make rather rude comments about the nature of the drug users who frequent this forum and the security of the website.

You do know that every single thing you did was logged. Not to mention the script keeps restore points so admins can fix it with a simple mouse click. There was nothing insecure about it, the only insecurity lies within your head, and not being able to comprehend what exactly it is that you are doing. Ythan coded this entire thing from scratch, and I don't think hes left any stone unturned.

I hope this is not too ofeensive, because you are a good contributor to this site..but its shit like this that really maks me hang my head in shame. I would expect something like this from a 12 year old kid who's never been here before.

My mentality has gotten me pretty far, I have a great job at UF people like me, I'm happy, and the world continues to turn. (You can thank me latter)

In truth I wasnt even sure why I was banned at first, because I had already forgotten about it. The whole thing is pretty funny to me, but then again my sense of humor is a bit uncommon to say the least.

And yes I was aware it would be logged, that made it even funnier to me.

Oh and thanks for the compliment about my contributions to the forum,(no sarcasm intended) that is the whole reason I wanted my original user name back rather that simply changing my IP and starting all over. I also think all of the puppet accounts were pretty funny, and thankfully I'm not the only one with a sense of humor. Ythan was pretty cool about it.

On a positive not, Website Announcements and Feedback has become my new favorite forum...how the fuck did this place turn into the pub? :cheers:
