Hes gonna be at Webster hall this april 27th i really wanna go and tickets are 20 bucks right now! Anybody else think they'll go i wanna meet up with some of ya! I dont think this is OMR show but maybe hell show up

what y'all should do is just roadie up with him in ny and hit the philly and dc shows then come kick it in atx on may 2nd and 3rd!

yes.

in my continental is one of my favorite songs.

if you actually listen to the lyrics they are fuckin awesome especially towards the end. he pretty much is like fuck my dumbass fans whats the point of me rapping good if nobody understands what i'm saying :laugh:

I used to try to lace the phrases with magic tricks
Every paragraph needed translation attached to it
They saw the style, respected the craft
But all I did was confuse em, would try to get em to laugh
Painted pictures in the primer, no one got the pulp
Found the humor, the anger and the insult
Why should I waste any oxygen
Tryin to find the in-between-the-lines that they get lost within?

Check out Jewunits Hip Hop guide in the Music forum.

It lists a bunch of great artists along with descriptions of their styles.

I'd start with Cunninlynguists if you have never heard them.
Del is good too. Hieroglyphics as well.
Brother Ali is on the same label as Atmosphere he is sick.

got most of their cds now

getting into 'the grouch' but i dont really like his stuff as much as i thought i would.. although i haven't had a chance to listen to it that much so it'll prob grow on me.

eyedea is sick and pretty much anyone from rhymesayers if you ask me.

i mean i like lil flip and z ro and trae and shit like that from houston..

i wish i had my ipod or i'd prob have more.

i'm pretty picky with my hiphop and with most bands.

yeah ive posted on that thread, hieroglyphics seem to be off beat alot and sometimes dont rhyme. Del is one of my favs, brother ali, ahhh so so. Cunninltyguists i have never heard until now...and they are tight! Anyway, thanks. Anything new please let me know, cant stand listenin to the same old stuff, ya know?

Yea Hiero is a league of their own IMO. My favorite hip-hop crew by far.
