Hieroglyphics Full Circle Tour

Overall I was dissapointed. First, they were signing autographs at this local music shop. I can understand their weariness from traveling on the road, but damn. Most of them didn't say anything. I wasn't looking for them to google eye me or anything, but they just signed shit and passed it on. I did get them to Hancock this shirt I've had for about 5 years. So far it's got DJ Z-Trip, Blueprint (Soul Position), Eyedea, Murs, Del tha Funky Homosapien, Casual, Pep Love, Domino, APlus, and the other dewds of Souls of Mischief.

I was equally dissapointed in the show, as the openers ruined the experience. The first group, Z-Man and his "DJ" were fucking ridiculous. All they wanted to talk about was how "white girls these days have got bootie", blah fucking blah. But what made it worse was ... the DJ was playing a DAT. No records, nothing. Just a prerecorded set. He was even acting like he was doing shit, but would never switch records. The second act did the same thing. Hiero did have a DJ, but he sucked ass and the cats up on stage would shoot a glance every time he'd drop the transfer or fuck up the beat. It was lame.

The only satisfying part of the show was Del and Pep Love. Del just killed the scene, did all the old hits (No Need For Alarm, After Dark), and he even puffed on a joint up on stage. His freestlye was ssssssick.

But overall I felt gipped. Thanks for pinching pennies Hiero. Thanks for trying to kill off the DJ.

i am going to this show next monday in colorado. That sucks man, atleast del was good and pep love(as always they rock the show). I like how del has puffed a blunt everytime i see him. No one can touch those rhymes del has. I hope the show i go to turns out better for me.
