Don't forget about Earth Hour!!!

On Saturday, March 29 from 8pm to 9pm all the peoples from across this wide, wasteful planet will be doing thier part for humanity by turning off your lights for one hour.

Everybody is doing it.  Entire corporations, cities, private  businesses, your house, your moms house and the bar down the street. 

So don't forget to turn your shit off for one hour.  Our earth needs you...this saturday.  :yesnod:

I think that we should be required to turn the power off completely for 8 hours, each weekday, when I have to work. Yes, I believe that is the best course of action here. :smirk:

Seriously.  What's the big stinkin' deal?  Turn off your lights for one hour.  Make an effort.  Don't use plastic bags, plant a tree, turn off the lights and recycle your pop cans. 

No wonder we are in crisis.  :frown:  It doesn't take a whole lot of effort to be less wasteful.

I guess that is the american website....it's been all over the internet and the news, both federal and local.  I'm actually really suprised that no one has heard of it.  I think they did it last year and this year they are expecting even better results.

I think it's a cool idea.

for the amount of time i can stand watching the news no station has mentioned this.

Lights off for one hour isn't going to save the world. And it makes me laugh to know that some humans think we can just miraciously take control of the temperature and atmosphere.
Btw, I turn my lights off when I go to bed, for about 9 hours.
The Earth will be fine... humans on the other hand might not survive the changes.
