Crazy story, I got robbed...

So I went to a friends house up in Dayton last weekend to trip with a group of people and a couple old friends of mine stopped by to buy weed at about 11pm. I use the term 'friends' loosely with these 2 people because they are very bad heroin/crack/you name it addicts that have screwed me over in the past but I've forgiven them time and time again trying to help them beat their drug addiction, to no avail. So I get done tripping at about 5am and head home and as I am driving up I notice the lights are off at my house (odd cause I remember leaving them on). I go in and notice that a space heater is knocked over and instantly I know someone has been here.

I turn the lights on and go into my bedroom and yep, about 20oz of fresh mushrooms I had drying and a quarter oz of dank was stolen. The two had kicked my side door in (which is in frickin plain view of the street) knowing that I would be in dayton all night tripping. So I'm thinking I am never going to see these people again,..wrong!

Last night I am heading to another friends house to trip and have to stop at the gas station to get gas. I get done filling up and get in my car and the dude that robbed me is there and walks over and starts talking all buddy buddy with me. I roll down the window and he tries to reach in and unlock the door so I tell him i am in a hurry and drive off. I head back to my house and he calls me on my cell. I bitch him out, and he starts getting aggressive and says he's pulling in my drive way right now to kick my ass. So I grab my neighbor real quick (tell him to grab his pistol) and the dude pulls up honking his horn like crazy, gets out and starts yelling making a scene trying to get my neighbor and I to fight. I try to calm him down and he yells at me some dumb ass lie that he didn't break into my house but someone he knew did and he tried to stop the person. So then he yells here are your fucking mushrooms back and throws a bag hard into my face. His girlfriend then yells from the car 'lets go!' and the dude starts telling me he's called the cops on me and there coming right now. The dude then furiously leaves and peels out.

Well the good news is that there were no cops (of course), and yes he threw the mushrooms that he stole back at me. Not because he was trying to be friendly, but because he most likely could not find and drug dealers that would buy the shrooms because they were fresh and the dude must have squished them into a smaller sack,etc because look how bruised they are:



Most likely no one would buy them because they probably thought they were moldy or rotten. And of course I didn't get my dank back.

Just goes to show you that drug addicts will do ANYTHING to feed their addiction. I thought I was going to have a gun or knife drawn on me last night but thankfully it did not come to that. I know that if I do not resort to violence then Jesus will guard me like the shepherd that fights off the wolves that attack his flock. Now my neighbor and I ordered 1 million volt stun guns for each of us (best non lethal protection I can think of). I know he will be back some point to cause more trouble. At least my lease is up next month at my current place so I can move away from this crap soon.

fuckin junkies.

2 places ive lived ive had people break in and steal shit. the next time they do, if i catch them or know who did it. theyre gonna get their asses BEAT badly. if i catch them in my house im gonna cut their fucking arm off with a katana. good thing is, its legal to use lethal force on someone if they break into your house, car, or any personal property. (in missouri at least) thanks to the "missouri castle doctrine"

You people need to understand something important. I don't want to hurt these people, I don't want to hurt anyone, and neither should you. Yes, I am going to defend myself (non-lethally) if I get jumped, but I still want these 2 people that robbed me to get off their addiction and clean up their lives. I have been through a lot with them through the past 5 years and they really are friends to me if they weren't addicted. I have seen what addiction does to people's minds. It makes them closer to animal conscious than human conscious, and it really is a disease, not a criminal issue. Yet, it still takes an addict to WANT to get off drugs to truely stop. Most addicts fear that real life is an awful experience, but thats because most addicts don't really know how to live and have grown up in some really bad environments. Both people that robbed me have come from rock bottom of the barrel.

Anyhow, remember that if you were in their shoes you would do the same thing. We are biological machines that our current thoughts and actions are logically created from our memories and experiences. Put your mind into someone else's machine and you become them. So when someone acts inappropriately or insanely (from our viewpoint) you cannot do anything but love them and hope and try to heal the machine so that it operates sanely and logically as it should.

Frankly, you sound like a pushover and will most likely be a victim many more times before you snap out of it.

Yeah, maybe it is a disease, but it's not yours to deal with. They're criminals that happen to do drugs, quit making excuses for them.

Are you so hard up for friends that you keep pieces of shit around?

I can still help them without enabling their drug problem by talking, giving advice, teaching them how to live right. I definitely don't let them into my house nor give them money. I am close to these people. I was there when his girlfriend had her kid. I've stuck my finger down her throat to make her puke up the sleeping pills, alcohol, and klonopin that she was trying to commit suicide on after being beat and raped. They got it bad, real bad. I am no pushover, and unless people around the world start treating addiction as a disease rather than criminal issue its just going to keep getting worse. If I do nothing then I am essentially enabling their problem to become worse.

If you have the patience and tolerance and they really do mean that much to you, then do what you think you have to do. Know that you're inviting more bullshit into your life and that when the day ends, they don't want your sympathy.

I was a crackhead and heroin addict for 6-10 years and you cannot help them get clean, trust me. They either will or they wont. The AA mentality that you are always an addict is 100% bullshit lie made up to excuse our failures and give a reson to continue to fail. I have not done coke in 5yrs and have not been hooked on H for 2yrs now. I did almost go back but I can't live like that and now that I have tasted success and what it is like to own a prospering Company and to really make a difference....I won't give that up. Most of my drug abuse was self medicating pain management issues. Now I have a doctor who listens and he treats my pain and I don't think about getting high. I smoke bud and eat a few shrooms once in a long while but other then that I rarely touch anything else. I have done it several times since getting clean but never more then once in a row and it usually scares me too much. I like not being looked at like a piece of shit and not B&E'ing peoples homes. They don't think. We knew a guy who was wicked greedy but always had lots of drugs and my friend robbed him of 20 lbs of bud, 2lbs of shrooms and 20g of opium....then the second and third times he onle got a QP and a bunch of cash.

I felt bad for everything I did and the 5yrs in jail I paid for it was enough. I take suboxone by choice because having an opiate blocker makes it so I don't have a choice about staying clean, unless I want to be sick for a couple days and then get high, only to be uncomfortable on the transfer back...so it isn't worth it. My dad still uses and everything is a scam to him and that is mostly why I hate it so much and will stay clear of it...for all intents and purposes it stole my dad from me and took the last years of my grandparents lives away from me and I can never get that back, nor the people I hurt. I am glad you got your shit back but my dad tells me how good he has been doing lately every time we talk and nothing has changed, cept he stole a $4k check from my grandmother so it looked like he saved his money...
