Allergy natural remedies

Is there certain foods or herbs that can relieve allergy symptoms with no side effects like drowsiness?

i usually give myself a steam inhalation with mint oil, or clove or some other menthol-y essential oil. plus drinking tea helps. mint is good.

What allergy? Hay fever? If it's hay fever, than eating local bee pollen actually works to sort of 'immunize' you against you allergy. It sounds wierd, but it works.

very rare to find local bee pollen though. :confused:

i can get it, but it is NEVER local, and ive checked every possible source i could find.

Try eating local honey..Get into beekeeping,We need all the honey bees we can get..

i do eat lots of local honey. i can get it for $20 a gallon from the local beekeeper.

It's hard to find local bee pollen? Where do you live? Maybe it's because I live on the west coast and there's a big market here for hippie food, but there are soooo many local farmers and companies that supply things like that. If you get honey from your local beekeeper, maybe you could ask him for bee pollen? Although I assume that unpasteurized honey would work well enough too. I once got this honey that had pollen, propolis and royal jelly in it. It had a wacky taste, but it grew on me and it was super nutritious.

yeah im in florida, not a huge hippy culture here yet. there are health food stores and such, but theyre not as stocked as i imagine they could be.

yeah the honey i get is completely raw, i can get it with ot without the comb in it.
