Nader Polling 6%
    #8165178 -

A drop in the bucket yes but 6% is enough to have an impact on the election one way or another. Is this simply a peak in his support just a few weeks after announcing or is his momentum building towards the level he was at in 2000? IF he can double this support in all likely hood he would be included in national debates where he would run over the Democrats and Republicans that poster as being the servants of the people when in fact they are corporate lap dogs on a tight spiked collar leash.

Nader is going to make about as much of an impact as Paul did... a footnote in the history book... and the corruption in politics will continue on as normal with one of the three "electable candidates" ensuring that the status quo is maintained for another four to eight years.

If he doesn’t die before November, it’s John McCain in a walk.

I am one of those individuals that would not have voted for a Democrat whether Nader was in the race or not in 2004. My vote would have gone to a third party or some other independent but not one of the Democrats and Republicans. I only hope that this is the start of his momentum and that he can get on ballots in Arizona and Texas.

Thanks to Nader, McCain will not be the only old fart in the race.:smirk:

Don't worry.  He'll still be the only right-wing, war-crazy, warped-by-torture, tax-raising, border-destroying, out-of-touch nutjob.

Because I just loved those eight years of Clinton or the last several hundred years of the United States ruling over my homeland.

What on earth is that supposed to mean? I was asked what homeland I speak of and I said America which is true my ancestors were here long before the United States was ever dredged up into a reality. Besides, I have nothing but contempt for Bush and the two party sytem we have in this nation.

So? Nearly everyone else had a 30 year life span several hundred years ago and no one had computers. LOL besides the people of the Americas developed most of the food crops that feed the world. I would take food over computers personally I don't know about you. Where would you Europeans be? Eating a stale piece of rye bread and meat lol? How boring life would be.

Besides you take a very Euro-centric view of the development of technology no one developed technology on their own without the influence of other peoples. Who's to say other forms of technology would have not been developed and besides the ethnobotanical knowledge of the America's was more higly advanced than Europe's at the time of the arrival of Europeans. Life expentancy would most likely improve in the America's as it did else where over time.

Yes, I was just making a pot of coffee and singing it to myself in the kitchen.

Damnit.
