Anyone else enjoy hookah?

I used to smoke cigarettes because the nicotine relaxed me. But after smoking them for about six months I decided that, a) they taste bad, and b) the buzz i get isn't worth the shitty side effects like smelling like smoke and addiction.

So now the only tobacco I smoke is out of a hookah, and the occasional pipe tobacco. It still relaxes me, and its fun to blow huge clouds of smoke out of your mouth. Plus smoke rings. And theres all kinds of flavors. :borat:

hahahahhaahaha, I'm sitting here smoking my hookah right now for the first time in forever.  Jamming out listening to my new dnb mix I just mixed.  Its great.  Strawberry FTW!

Hookah is nice. We go to the hookah bar many times a week, since we can't smoke in the house. Luckily spring is approaching, I'm sure we'll pool together as a house to get a new hookah (our old one broke), and then we can sit out front on nice days between class and puff away. I heart hookah.

i love hookah. i've turned many of my friends onto it although i still have a few to convert. and of course they are all impressed with smoke rings and the french inhale, heh.

Yeah I used to go out too a hookah bar, until the only one in our area got invaded by 18 year old high school seniors. Now I just smoke at home with pleasant company. I need to invest in a better hookah sometime though. One of those rotators with multiple hoses.

They don't accomplish anything good in my opinion. Small single hose hookahs are the way to go, but hookah bars rarely, if ever, use small hookahs.

I dunno I've smoked out of quite a few multiple hosed hookahs and they can hit pretty well. You just have to make sure everyone knows the "hose plugging" etiquette. The local shop as some that look like this but with 2 or 4 hoses.

The relaxing feeling is so much better than the crappy nicotine buzz IMO.

my favorite hookah bar is this small hole-in-the-wall place.  it uses the small single hosed hookahs.  only enough seating for like 20 people and the owner guy is great.  really great service.

Anyone ever looked into making homemade natural shisha? Any idea how hard it is? I was thinking about doing this it'd be fun.

if you are looking for some quality shisha then i would recommend www.fumari.com

they use honey and high quality tobacco and flavors... once i tried them i decided to never go back to shitty boxed shisha again.

their best ones are watermelon, black cherry, prickly pear, and orange cream

hookah sobers me up. when i am drinking and start smoking i have to drastically increase my alcohol intake (otherwise my bowling/darts/wii/entertaining skills become highly diminished).

The small Hookah brought back from Pakistan, givin to me as a gift.

i also love my sisha. i should get it out and set it up - its been a while.
for the tobacco - i only smoke the middle eastern brands, which are available usually in Arab bodegas, at least in my area.
Al Waha is my favorite brand - and espresso flavor is amazing. But i havent gone wrong buying strange middle eastern brands.
