I always take prints. You never know what you can trade then for in the future.------------------ "I think of myself as an intelligent, sensitive human being with the soul of a clown which always forces me to blow it at the most important moments." Well my Computer room/Mushroom drying room, is one giant spore print. I get so many shrooms passing through this room that you can probably just scrape spores off of the walls and ceiling. You could probably just take a little chuck of my carpet and inocculate that baby right into a steralized jar(or however you people do it). I had some chinese food(white rice) laying around in the corner unoticed by me for a few months... I go to clean up my room one day and uncover it... I had about 20 copelandias growing right out of the container!!!

wouldn't wild prints have a lot of contams on them that would make it very hard to actually get a culture started?------------------ "We are not afraid to follow truth wherever it may lead, nor to tolerate any error so long as reason is left free to combat it."

well pin where do you think the original prints come from dude? that is why there is agar, so you can isolate the mycelia in petri dishes. [This message has been edited by sean123 (edited January 23, 2000).]

Wo wo wo wo wo Wo Wo. Just calm down Heruuka, thats not the way we do things around here. Youve got to just calm down a little bit and take a few big deep breathes.. breathe in good thoughts and out with the bad. Crobih: First of all, the reason we are haveing this big misunderstanding about the original photos is because there has been alot of bootleg mushroom picture theifs on the prowl lately. Ya see, if you look closely at the my picture(the original) and yours(just a stolen copy that somehow landed into your hands), you will notice a slight difference in color variations and textures.. Yours couldnt possibley live up to the standards that i take when developeing film. And furthermore, in the foreverexpanding marketplace of magic mushroom photographs nowadays,,, these professionals can spot a stolen copy from a mile away.
