I think they're going right back off.
It is funny to see people who still have the same avatar they had like 3 years ago when I turned them off. (Pillow)

I'm not talking shit about anyones avatar, Captain Defensive. Pillow's is a classic.
And Pig-o-War is fucking awesome no matter what you say.

i don't mind avatars. they're helpful for identifying people in a hurry, and the best thing about them is that they are all the same size.
i can't stand when people have enormous annoying sigs. is there a way to turn those off? i've never bothered checking.

I had not even thought of what mine was until today since I've them off.
The painting is by Jeff Mcnelly, a political cartoonist.

I just turned them off yesterday.
I like it with no sigs, but avatars will stay.

Damn man you been here since 01 and put up with sigs all that time
They're horrible. Plus check this out if you don't already know about it. Makes the forums page look much cleaner. Another cool little feature

Yeah sigs didn't bother me much but I like that they're gone.
I tried the no-forum-descriptions feature yesterday but I switched back. It's just not the same without them.

I tried turning descriptions off too, but the forum layout looked too out of shape, so I turned them back on immediately.
Nothing wrong with avatars and signatures. Well with most of them.

I agree w/ the above posters. I had turned off forum descriptions, but somehow things look more cluttered w/ the descriptions off.
Sigs will never go back on, avatars are back off.
Too much business.
