average fruiting times? 9 days and no go.......
    #800262 - 08/06/02 04:08 PM (14 years, 7 months ago)

right now my friend has 3 terrariums going.... 1 with all Eq's, 1 with all Sa's & B+'s.
the Eq's and Sa's were the first to go in and it has been 9 days. All are at optimum humidity and are getting adequate air exchange. But..... no pins.... are we just impatient? They were fully colonized at about 24 days.
plz let me know what average times are... if nothing has happend after this next week what is wrong?

Sounds to me like he's using cakes and not casings.

You didn't provide any information concerning temperatures, but you might want to try a cold shock. Personally, I would wait a bit longer.

i new i left something out.... yes they are all cakes except 2 eq's with the SOS tek but those haven't been in as long. Temps are mid 70's averaging around 74-78.
humidity is +95% in all the terrariums. For now i will just keep my fingers crossed.
this is our first time.

IMHO, you are doing the right thing by waiting. I'm sure you'll see the cakes pin within another week or so.

average time it took mines was exactly 8 dayz. After harvesting them and dunking them, the second flush took
6 dayz. ur temp seems a bit to low IMO. I keep mines at about 80-85F. Lower temps will mean slower growth
but that doesnt mean have them at 100F and "indy" them to growth

Once u see the pins, the avg time mines took were about 3-4 dayz to full maturity...remember to not
wait too long to take a print otherwise ur perlite will have black spots like mines...it'll look like some1 stepped
on land mines

Congrats on ur first pins
