Your worst teachers

I'm sure we've all had some terrible teachers in our day. Post about your worst/most ridiculous teachers!

I had a PE teacher in 9th grade that didn't even show up for class about one third of the time.

Another third of the time, she showed up, and our PE class consisted of us sitting on the bleachers for an hour doing homework or talking.

The other third of the time we would spend our PE hour walking around the track.

In 10th grade most of my assignments in history class were coloring. I could go on and on but I want to hear yours.

i had this history teacher my freshman year of high school. she wasn't to bad looking for a middle aged women. barely anyone would pay attention, so she would tell the people that wanted to pay attention to bring their desks near her and she would teach them and let the rest of the class to do whatever they wanted as long as they didn't disturb her little group.

i would hang out with friends and talk...somehow i passed that class with an A or B...

a couple of years ago she got arrested because she was somehow "involved" with a student, it made the paper.

My worst teacher was. Mr. Ragwen
he had a very annoying voice, very unfair [so cliche for me to say this, but believe me], and he could never control the classroom. and he would blame alot of things on me even though i was the one doing most of the assignment and what not.

i went to a middle school in a bad area of los angeles, so the kids in my class were always walking out, talking/screaming non-stop, nobdy did the work, it was science class so everyobody was always stealing equipment and messing with the gas lines, and i swear- everyday someone would throw stinkbomb inside the class, and it had no ventilation whatsoever.
now that i think about it was more of the class being bad. lol
so thats what probably led him to become quite a dickhead.

had a crazy ass chem teacher that talked to herself and stared at the ceiling when she taught..

also, she wrote me up for talking once when i wasn't talking at all..

i think she heard voices. i'm pretty sure they got rid of her after i graduated..

LA representin!  But seriously, LA schools suck ass.
And yeah I had many classes where the teachers long ago gave up caring about the students and would continue to ramble on quietly, facing the chalkboard, despite everyone throwing shit and making tons of noise.

I learned almost nothing in all of high school.  At least not at school anyway.

in 7th grade my math teacher didn't really speak much english and she didnt know what she was talking about. she read straight from the book and i remember one day she couldnt find her teacher text book so we didnt do anything that day.

8thgrd My PE class made a substitute teacher break down and cry one day (the real teacher was pregnant/had a kid). she quit soon after, it was awkward cuz it was my friends mom. Then the subs sub came and she was alright, she switched off every other day with this 24yrold named Ms. New or something, i remember her telling me that her boyfriend was cooler than i was. I think she was insecure.

I've had some crazies...


My 12th grade physics teacher who was obsessed with god.  I know, physics teacher god freak... :rolleyes:  He contradicted himself with every word! :lol:  He'd always answer me with, "In due time....in due time."

My 6th grade math/homeroom teacher.  He talked like Ben Stein.  No emotion, a fucking ROCK.  It was almost impossible to learn Algebra from that guy...  It just sounded like "Blah blah blah...blaaaaaahh blahhhh" :lol:  He had a saying though that I liked: Practice Makes Permanent.

Come to think of it those are my only really bad teachers.  I enjoyed my school years, and I became friends with a lot of my teachers along the way.  :smile:

I don't know about policy in the states. But in Canada, teachers are allowed to discipline students exactly like a parent would, which includes physical punishment.

Our civics and law teacher showed us the rule the first day to remind us that if we were noisy or talked back, he was allowed to hit us, and this man also happened to be the gym teacher, weight lifting coach, and the rowing instructor (ie: BIG FUCKING ARMS) . No one said a fucking word in that class.

I just remembered his name though, Mr. Doug Pratt...he was a pratt too...

My SS teacher in grade 10 was an ex prison guard, if that tells you anything about that class. After he gave us our assignment, he would sit at his desk in the front and stare at anyone who moved/talked/breathed. He made a few people cry over that semester, and probably many more followed. The weird thing about him was that most people swore they had seen him smoking a joint in his truck at some point; he wasn't very mellow for a supposed pothead. :shrug:

my 11th grade world history teacher was a retired army vet, he was a combat medic
with the 101st airborne, anyway we had no homework other than reading a chapter or
two, we had a test every day on what we were supposed to read, the rest of the
class was fuck off time or discussion or soemthing... about once a week he'd have
us doing something, the most memorable was the phalanx... we faced off against the
football team and whipped some ass....


I dont remember any bad teachers,

My 10th grade psychology teacher was an ex-prison gaurd too. She was pretty nice cool though. Biggest dyke I ever seen in me life though :sun:

I feel like I know him already :smirk:

I don't remember too many of my teachers, and only the good ones where I do.  Like the elementary school teacher who played arena football.  He was awesome.  He once grabbed a kid who had farted in class by the neck and lifted him up against the wall.  We all thought he was going to kill him, but he just gave him a good verbal thrashing.  He tried to walk outside first after that incident.

I had a geometry teacher who was about 60 and sniffed whiteboard cleaner... she was a fucking idiot too, she thought a cube has 8 sides... :rotfl:
