The only thing wrong with these Sennheiser headphones

is the damned cord isn't long enough to enjoy dancing whilst listening to some serious DnB. :crankey:  This baby puts out bass like none other though.  I ended up buying the HD 280 Pro.  Highly recommended if anyone else is in the market for some QUALITY headphones.

I'm also interested in hearing what everyone else out there uses for 'phones.

I have the exact same pair, great headphones.  The bass isn't necessarily loud IMO, but it hits extremely low and deep.  I have a pair of Sony V6's, but ever since I bought my gf a pair of these 280s...  we'll just say she hasn't been able to use them much... :wink:

Those must've been pretty expensive.

I have a pair of Pioneer SE-M280's. Pretty basic but they do the job.

Any idea what the number stands for? It can't be a coincidence that both Pioneer and Sennheiser have a 280...

radio shack probably has a 1/4 inch female -> male adapter that could make the chord longer.
same goes for the mini pin (1/8th)

I DJ DnB and own a pair of the Sennheiser HD25's. Girlfriend thought I was nuts but it's the best value for money I've ever had in my life. I wouldn't go back to using anything else and they go everywhere with me.

Also they are really small and ghetto-looking, not huge heavy motherfuckers. And the impedance is low which means I get a good volume using my little MP3 player. I like the short cord because when I'm DJ'ing and have to kneel down to get into my record box, I don't kneel on the cable.
