I thought about this once when i was young(er) and stupid(er). I think the bomb is supposed to go off and destroy all the evidence BEFORE the cops find it... Either that or be used in court to make it seem like you were being forced to grow someone pot under the pretenses that whoever was "forcing" you would detonate the bomb if you didnt do their bidding.

Yea. I came to that same conclusion, though I was thinking more along the lines of gasoline containers and burning down the whole building.
