What server!?!

What is the deal with this new server? It is still slow as hell. Anyone else noticed this? I am 100% sure its not on my end. The shroomery is the slowest site that I enter frequently.

I don?t know which lightning fast sites you normaly visit, but the shroomery is fast for me at the moment.

Weird...I have a damn fast computer and cable modem. Most every other site is just a click and BAM! its there. But the shroomery takes a few seconds to load. Soppose I will just have to tolerate it I'll live....

You are right, it takes a few seconds to load, depending which page you call up.

I would suggest you to press the Mark All Read link at the top of the page.
After this all the posts will be marked as read, but it will take less time for the page to be generated.

Do you remember how damn slow the old server was? Took about 30-45 seconds to load the main index for users with a fast connection.

People forget too easily.

Oh I remember! I guess the loging in part of the load up is what is dragging. By marking all read as Anno stated, It loads immediately.
