Adam Jones. ..n shit.
    #7939975 -

I just woke up from a dream in which I was watching Adam Jones perform, who is certainly one of my spiritual, artistic, and guitar heroes...

But it was weird... because he was alone on this little stage and there was a killer whale under him, and... the killer whale attacked him...I saw Adam Jones get mauled by a killer whale. It was fucking graphic.

When Adam was finally dead from all the thrashing and being landed on by a whale, which I saw with my own third eye plain as day, it held him straight up out of the water and he was limp.

Then the whale got out of the pool he was in and everyone freaked.

There was so much more to the dream than that, but like any other it is slowly fading away into oblivion. I just thought I should share it before it is lost.

Afterwards I deduced that he attacked because his guitar was too god damn loud.

Anyway.

I'd also like to add that we should all burn our money and revert to a anarcho-primitive lifestyle so we can all be free of the chains of tyrannical government. Any government implies tyranny in my perception of things. Government itself is an unnatural and desperate attempt by humans to feel in control of their world. All civilizations crumble.

And one has to assume... the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Either you're still having some effects of that 18-hit acid trip, or you've been reading the words of Ted Kaczinski.

In any event, come back in a month when your mind has had a chance to clear up.

I like how you just don't like me for some reason. Or no reason at all. You don't even know me.

It's cute.

No, I do like you.
But let's face it - what you said in the quote is a tad bit extreme, don't you think?
We can't have total anarchy - such a system cannot work.

Yeah.. it was more of a joke anyway, heh..

Though I do have this deep yearning to return to the wild, I know that kind of transition wouldn't work for the rest of society. It's an idea I love to ponder, though... everyone living at peace with nature, recycling everything and shit like that.

Sorry I got all defensive

I mean, without some of the things we have today, such as modern medicine and whatnot (even though the medical industry is mostly fueled by greed, like any other industry) the world wouldn't be as great a place, I guess. But with all this medicine, and all these things that extend the life expectancy rate and save people from diseases that before killed so many every day, the world's crowding up quicker than ever. A cliche argument, I know.. but true nonetheless. I don't think society will be able to support itself through the next centuries. I just can't see it happening.

I agree with you that nature can be very relaxing and insightful.
This is why I go outside and walk around the parks when I'm tripping.

I just let myself melt into the universe as an observer, and leave my own personal opinions of the trip behind.
I take it all in and accept it for what it's worth.

I won't try to change anything, especially something as vast as government or economy.
I completely agree that big changes need to be made, but I for one, am not in any position to do that, at least, not by myself.

In my opinion, the government will bring themselves down, as their stack up bullshit continues to pile, they will become more and more unstable.
Perhaps this is the essence of Dec. 2012. Wait and see.

I've had that thought too.. and I eagerly await that year. I just hope whatever kind of destruction takes place, my son (he'll be.. 4 by then) my wife and I live through it. I always told myself I couldn't possibly bring another human being into a world so ugly, but...

my sperm had other ideas. And I'm not one to just pawn off my "mistakes" because I can. I've embraced this as something that has happened for a very good reason. I would totally be a hypocrite for hating people who no personal accountability, haha

Actually, if I didn't get her pregnant.. we'd be doing drugs a lot more... as in, irresponsibly. So, in a way, I believe this happened to use as a lesson and a reason. A reason to live better.

So you need to educate your son on what you believe is the correct approach when handling drugs.
Don't let him be brainwashed by what the government and media is spewing out.
It's probably a good idea that he stay away from them at least until he's able to make his own choices, but it's never too late to start a proper education.

Definitely. I'm afraid of what the exposure to things like that, and even his friends at school, might infect his influencable mind with. I don't want my kid to watch TV. I'm going to make sure to limit his TV watching to a few cartoons on Saturdays. I don't want to ruin his childhood by being over-protective...

It's a delicate balance.. between sheltering your child -which will keep him naive and immature to the real world- and exposing him to the truths of the world - which will better prepare him for the assholes and hard knocks that life will undoubtedly throw at him. I'm just going to try my best to build a good foundation in his mind of what the world is like, and infuse him with my opinions on everything (that's what a parent does, I mean when you think about it... it's unavoidable) while still letting him decide and think for himself.

It's gonna be a long road from here. We're having him tomorrow. JESUS CHRIST.

*nervous as fuck* :puke:

You can start by showing him this:

When he's able to read and understand speech, of course.
