That's the problem with Canada... everything is so spread out. I'm currently waiting for a gathering that's sort of nearby, like North Dakota or something. That BC gathering you guys were talking about... where in BC would it be?

I'm so lucky...there's a lot of Boston Shroomerites and I can't stay away from them. :heart: :smile: My real life has integrated completely with the Shroomery. 

We were recently pondering the idea of road trip to NYC to see the CoSM!

Let the NYC area people know if you do come to see CoSM. I'm a 20 min train ride from Manhattan and have yet to see CoSM...or been to the top of the Empire State Building... or Statue of Liberty. It'd be even cooler to go with shroomerites.

Goddamn dude, when are we going to meet up?  Everytime we're both in this state it's during the frigid months of winter.  I'd be willing to meet you halfway in Shenandoah or something, I know there has to be a few others that live in the VA/NC/TN area that would/could be down for some good camping in the Appalachians.

An Asheville gathering would be freakin' sweet, but I don't know much about the camping aspect there.  I've only stayed in hotels outside the city and taxi'd into downtown to watch music and/or bar hop.  There's almost always live music in every other bar and pub downtown.  I saw this killer band on New Year's there called SciFi, a 3 piece with an amazing keyboardist.. no guitar.  :thumbup:

:lol:  This has actually happened at gatherings.  No joke.

I didn't mean to insinuate that you're a complete social retard.  It's just that it seems to some people who have never been to a gathering before that it's a wonderful opportunity to eat a bunch of crazy psychedelics and run through the forest naked. 

It really bothers me when people think that gatherings are drug fueled substance fests.  They are not.  They are cool, chill peoples usually going camping in the forest and mushroom hunting.  That's it.  Leave your stash at home, because I am the one who always ends up holding your hand while your ego goes on a cosmic adventure to hell and back.

You should dude, they're chill people. Yeah, some are socially awkward(which I attribute to too much drug use), but they're cool people. I can't even name all the shroomerites I've met.

I'd be down for a NC/SW VA gathering once it gets warmer.. assuming I can make it. I freaking love Asheville I'd love to go to a gathering down there.
