i don't get crazy fucked up and i've never needed a babysitter so this isnt a concern for me nor should it be for anyone else.

I just really wanted to point out this this is a TERRIBLE idea. If you are going to get crazy fucked up at a gathering, no one is interested in babysitting you or taking care of you. If you can't deal with meeting wicked people sober, maybe a gathering isn't a good place for you to be.


on the advice of my council, if i do indeed show up to the NE 08 gathering and you are there, i will comence to get very very stoned and then hit on you and then insist that you babysit me. this is not negotiable, i will not accept rain checks. you bring the handcuffs, i'll be wearing a leather thong.

nc. i plan on staying in these parts for about a year or so. then the plan is for an overhaul of sorts where i start looking for a real job and move where ever necessary.

There's a couple Shroomerites down yonder (debianlinux and FunGuyFan) that I have promised to visit. They're going to rendez-vous with me someday in Asheville, a town I have always wanted to visit.

But in all seriousness, it sucks all these great shroomerites hail from the states.  It costs a lot of money for me to drive/fly across the border.

oh, asheville is beautiful! great music scene too. or at least as good as it can get for being a town in the mountains.

you should let me know when that goes down. i'd most definitely be up for hanging out in asheville with some shroomerites.

And what if you're pretty unknown on the Shroomery? Would people be like "Who da fuck are you" or are they cool with anyone from the shroomery going to a gathering?

yeah I remember reading about that. All people I've wanted to meet for a long time. Well, I don't know of woodscall as much as the others, but I'd still like to meet him/her...suret hey are stand up if they are friends with the others.

Unfortunetely, I'm western. B.C. I was going to try hard to make it over to toronto, but it's quite a bit for a plane ticket to toronto.

I'd love to make it one of these days. I'm more of a people person than it seems, when I'm in person. I love meeting new people.
