 Need Creative Minds to help conjure tattoo ideas

Hello Friends.
I recently decided to get another tattoo. It will be my second one. The first one is a famous buddhist Sutra that means "Have compassion for all living things". It is above my heart on my left pectoral (my boob).
Now the second will be pertaining to Dukkha and that Life is Suffering. These idealogies go together back to back in Buhddism the idea that Life is full of suffering and that by reducing suffering in the world as much as you can in your actions as well as day to day life, then the world will be a better place and you will have found enlightenment upon seeking only to help others and not yourself, thus freeing you from suffering.
Anyway, I want this next one on my backright shoulder like above/near my shoulder blade and have it trail down the back of my arm to just above my elbow.
It will be a buhdist sutra pertaining to dukkha and the suffering we face in life in the form of Sanskrit. My first tattoo is on a stone lotus flower disc in sanskrit in the location i mentioned.
Now I have the sanksrit for the sutra but I want to have some picture/image linked in with the sanskrit that emphasizes visually something painful like the suffering we face in life.
I don't wanna do bloody letters or anything cliche like that.
I want something that really makes people look inside and be like wow.
For an example I thought of having my face/a women's face/child's face soemthing crying and the tears would go down the back of my arm starting on my shoulder blade area. The tears then become the sanksrit text of the sutra.
So thus the crying and tears visually represent the pain that is felt through life and the suffering we endure while here while the text of the sanksrit tells the story.
So now that you see what I'm talking about my questio nfor all of you is what are some images like the women crying thing where I can incorporate an image that represents sadness/suffering and that can be linked visually to the sanksrit i.e. the tears turning into the sanksrit.
Get it? Sweet. Best Idea gets 5 shrooms and your idea on my back.
Nothing stupid either since I know someone will post something dumb like " Get a bear mauling some guy"
No people, I am serious I want something that will mean something.

Where the persons hands are is where the image will be and I want the text of the sutra to trail down the back of my arm from my back to just above my elbow.

Geez- I'd think itd be very bad energetically to depict suffering on your skin. But if you must, you should get a bear mauling some guy.
But seriously.
- A child dragging a ball and chain to his own tombstone, representing a difficult passage through life into your own death.
- A bird being shot out of the sky with a flaming arrow, dropping a wreath.
- A skeleton in a desert, dead in the sand, with the oasis just out of reach.
- A little girl, blindfolded, bound, and lynched... all as a reflection in the eyes of a doll.
- Me ... having to give up MJ for a month for a drug Test.
Hope some of that works

you know, tattoo's are on your body forever. they should really symbolize something personal or be of something that MEANS something to you.
thinking up a tattoo idea is really a job for yourself.

All good ideas but I think you guys missed something..
I dont just want a picture, I have to incorporate the sutra in sanskrit form into the image.
Thas why I said the women crying because her tears would form the sanskrit characters.
Something like that. But you're all on track! Just keep thinking and we'll get there sooner ro later.
Mycroscope, your ideas are, well a few are good. But like I said, you gotta put that creativity to work in terms of what I need.

I would say something like: two hands, palms skyward, burning. Suffering only exists through desire, and hands extended to possess something, only to feel the pain of want as seen in flame.
Or use the monk above. The ultimate in suffering. self-immolation.
Don't go with faces, an artist than can really lay down a face like you'd want are few and far between.

i just think its stupid to get a tattoo for no reason. quite personally. i have 2 and they both MEAN something to me.
i guess this may not be the situation for you because you wanna get it all having to do with the sutra, which may in some way be 'important' to you.
just like i said a tattoo is something you want to put A LOT of thought into and even the tattoo artist will tell you that, so i don't see how what i said is at all stupid. unless you have a real dick bag of an artist.

nice idea.
the tat clearly means something to him since by the looks of it brainfart follows/has an interest in buddhist teachings. if what you live your life by isn't something meaningful, i dont know what is.
