It is not legal to cultivate psilocybe mushrooms in TX. It is only legal to be in posession of the spores for non-cultivation related use.

Man! You are one paranoid dude! We are all anonymous here. Many of us have pets that do the cultivating for themselves, or robots, or friends of friends we've heard of.

Tell me something... When's the last time you heard on the news or read in the paper about the latest psychedelic mushroom bust?

The only thing I've heard about it in the news in the past 30+ years was when the producer of "Ally McBeal" got busted with a small quantity in his suitcase at the airport a year ago. He wound up with a year's probation. Big deal!

Grow up! We are an underground community that keeps within our circle and nobody really cares much and that's the way we like it.

Are you in or out?

Well truth be known....and i am sure i could do some searching and find it, but am too lazy.....but there was one person busted in Canada just about 6 or so months ago. Someone had rented a house in a gated upscale community, inside the house there was no furniture, no one living there...rather just a HIGH and mass producing mushhy grow operation.....maybe i will search and add the link, was kind of interesting...

What country are you in?

In the netherlands it is legal to grow shrooms, but illegal to preserve them.

Alot of spores come from the netherlands.

Im not scared, I honestly wanted to know of the legallity of growing in general. I had a different understanding. Im not an american and your laws are somewhat new to me. And I have to say that some of them are rather harsh. I just dont understand people like you and your negative, attitudes. I never asked for your opinion "don't do it, go away!" and dont think that opinions such as yours do much to build the community up. I really dont think its me that needs to be doing the growing up.

I can't understand how you can have over 200 posts and still not know how to reply to a post correctly. Why did you reply to Frog, when you're addressing me?

Secondly, you read the law in the link you were given which clearly states that in Texas if your found in posession of over 400 grams of mushrooms you COULD be sentenced to a maximum of 99 years. If you were to have 400 grams (and they would HAVE to be dried, by the way, or there'd be no evidence by the time the case went to court) you would be considered a greedy hoarder of mushrooms, for if you were successful in growing 4000 grams (yes, four thousand) and drying them and keeping them in your possesion (weighing the 400 grams it would take to carry that kind of penalty) the question would be WHY did you have THAT KIND OF QUANTITY ALL AT ONCE?

Do you realize that's over 14.28 OUNCES of dried shrooms?

Do you see how rediculous this is?
