I think the sickest death video I've seen is some dude getting beheaded slowly with a knife somewhere in the middle east.

I think the beheadings are terrible because I could never do that. And it seems very intimate with the person you are killing, just sick. People getting shot to death is much easier to watch though a shotgun would be terrible.

actually the guy who made Faces of Death was interviewed and he said all of it was based on real stuff that actually happened and SOME of it is real. He said he couldn't (obviously) get real footage of everything that he wanted to so he had to re-create some of it. Like the monkey scene, where the people get to beat the monkey to death with a little hammer, thats fake.
but the one where the guy has a shootout with the cops and sicilian neckties his whole family was supposedly real.

god damn. I've seen the Bud Dwyer and a few others, and this thread just tempted me to go watch the other ones posted, like the bjork stalker one.

i'm not gonna, and hopefully i forget about this entire thread, but i know sometime in the future i'll probably do it, and then wish i hadn't. you can't unwatch that shit, its fucking horrible. and so fascinating at the same time because its a glimpse of something our living minds are truly incapable of comprehending- death.

i dunno man this technology shit throws up whole new questions on what is acceptable to see, i mean it has already happened and i could deal with it but... theres something too private about those final moments. fuck. i dunno tbh i'm drunk

The videos seem so surreal to me that it doesn't really bother me.

It's either that or all the TV over the past 10 years has just desensitized me. Remember 10 years ago the most extreme thing you'd see on TV is maybe the world's craziest police chases on FOX. Now all the extreme video shows just show any fuckin thing they want... dead bodies and all.

this kind of things have never really bothered me. in fact, i have yet to find a video that makes me look away or close the window.

even in real life, i have seen accidents in which people have been mangled and have gotten out of my car to see what i can do to help only to realize that they're already dead or about to be. seeing the moment someone dies has always been fascinating to me. :shrug:

I had a buddy who used to be in the army. He said he got sent down to Columbia to assist their army with wiping out the drug crops. They were sent to assist and train, but couldn't get involved really. He said he had to sit back and watch the columbian army decapitate someone.

He says watching it in real life really fucked him up in the head and still affects him.
