Sorry about multiple posts but when vacuum sealing dried shrooms can you throw in a couple oxygen absorbers/desiccant aswell? (into the vacuum bags with the shrooms?)
Bearing in mind the bags will then go into the freezer for over a year....
Im sure for a few months theyre fine but has anyone tested for years?
Maybe just vacuum seal then put sum oxygen absorbers/desiccant in the airtight container the vacuum sealed bags will go in?
My main worry is whatever chemical they put in messing with the shrooms. But im also worried about the tiny amoumnt of O2 in the vacuum bag like bits in the cap/inside the stem could stay in and decrease potency?

the purpose of vacuum sealing is to take all of the air (oxygen) out... isnt it?

Im sure minuscule amounts get caught in there no?
Ive NEVER used a vacuum sealer so dont know how effective they are, i presume ifit was strong enough to get ALL air outof it it would crush the fruit/veg you use to smitherines?

im not really sure :P best way would be to try it! maybe keep them seperated by something? i dunno... once the shrooms are dried oxygen isnt going to do much since most of the actives left ate psilocybin. it has that extra ring of protection around it against o2 doesnt it?

I think ill be ok im just tyring to make sure cause imagine finding you got a load of dud shrooms, if i was a dealer i wouldnt care id just sell them all str8 away, i just want me and my mates to have a good supply of shrooms for the years to come so whenevr i get em ill dry em bag em & freeze em.
the O2 absorb and desiccator parts of drying should take out the O2 and how much O2 can be in 30 seconds exposure to air anyway!?
