How valium killed my laptop...
    #7776623 -

So I took only 20 mg!!!! of valium last night, which wouldn't usually do anything to me, but I drank grapefruit juice with it not really expecting it to make it THAT much stronger.

Now I just woke up with my laptop turned on in my lap and theres a big black river running from the top and down/over to the right side of the screen which has gone completely white and has the appearance of being shattered.  When I touch it it doesn't feel shattered, but it looks like it and won't go away.... :crankey:  Its just enough to make by laptop barely usable as i can only use the left side of the screen.

Goddammit.  Atleast I bought the lifetime "we'll fix you're laptop for free any reason any time, and if we can't then we'll replace it for free" insurance.

You better hope that insurance covers self inflicted damage because it sounds like you punched it or dropped it.

well, the good thing about my roomie's family coming from trinidad and tobago is they can get valium otc for CHEAP.

I got 50 10mg for about 6 US dollars.

I haven't got to partake just yet as I've been sick and drowsy with meds as it is.

Drugs don't kill laptops.

People kill laptops.

I am off of xanax, withdrawals ended not long after I made the thread about it. These valiums just happened to come by me the other day and there were only a few.  They're all gone now so I'm not worried about a thing.

And yes, the insurance covers ANY type of damage.  It cost me $300 for the insurance, but I could throw this piece of shit against the wall and shatter it and they'd still replace it for free.  I'm glad i paid the 300.

And yes.  I killed my laptop.  i just killed it in a deep, deep sleep.  That grapefruit juice REALLY suprised me.  Who woulda thunk...

not really, a lot of manufacturers offer that. I can piss on my dell, drop a dookie on the keyboard, close the lid, and they'll replace the thing without asking a question.

comes in handy.

My Uncle was in a really bad car accident about 10 years ago, and is wheel chair bound. His most favorite possession is music. I talked my grandparents into buying him an MP3 player a few years back and they got this insurance. They use it a few times a year or something I hear.

So did it work? I drank most of the grapefruit juice about 20-30 minutes before taking the valium, and then the rest when i took them. It felt like I had just taken 2 for the first hour maybe, but then my memory goes blank and i wake up with a fucked up laptop staring at me.

nope

I never even felt the valium.

I am on antibiotics and other cold/sinus meds, so that could have something to do with it.

I also drank Ruby Red Grapefruit juice "cocktail" as opposed to drinking 100% juice... I don't know if that makes a difference.

I have 48 10mg valiums left... I guess once I'm over this sinus infection I should try the grapefruit juice thing again...

if it doesn't work, I've always found a can of redbull and a few shots of vodka always gets me to a good place. just enough caffeine in the redbull to keep me from passing out, but that nice benzo/alcohol buzz going.

I still prefer xanax over valium though.

Yeah Tropicana ruby red grapefruit juice is what I drank before I took mine.  And it worked well enough to make me wake up wiht a broken laptop in my lap. But everybody's different.  I've heard of lots of people that couldn't feel a dose of a benzo that would knock a normal person out
