I not only dreamed I was rich beyond my dreams, as a great artist, I dreamed my face was on money. Think of the terror when I realized I was spent. Think of the joy when I realized I was worth something.

My face is on the money with the farmland and the workingman.

Most people have some belief that they must work to survive, perhaps in other words obey. You should do what you love, if you're good at it, money. If you're good at art, money is just a prop of sex appeal. People often can't feel feelings, they can feel money. If people believe you have a lot of it, for real, you've got it made. Some people will do anything for money, even have dignity.

The best way to have money is to be seen spending a lot of it in Miami or Beverly Hills. Money for adults is a social sex game. I'm lucky that my art has made me extremely tan.

The first recording I remember making had me asking, "Paul, you got any gum?" I thought it was a spoof of Norm MacDonald's Saturday Night Live sketch as David Letterman, as it turned out I am an artist like The Beatles.
