PHISH ON BROADWAY
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When Phish plays the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday night,
they will perform from the top of the Ed Sullivan Theatre marquee(about two stories up from the street) at 53rd and Broadway in New York City. The band will perform their first song at the end of the Letterman taping. After the show ends, the band will perform an additional 20-25 minutes for fans.
The best place to watch the band perform will be on the far side of the street opposite from the Ed Sullivan Theater. The band will not perform UNTIL 6:25 PM. PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP ANY EARLIER THAN 6:15 PM.
I'm either going to watch it or go camping tonight with some friends and eat some fungus so I'd say a win-win situation for sure.
awesome well my vcr is not working, but whether or not I go camping just really depends on whether or not it works out...the group of friends i'm going with are prone to changing their minds at the last minute...
Yeah I think their just going to show a song like they would on a regular letterman appearance and then their going to keep playing for people on the street but that's no going to be televised.
yeah man, i wanna see other members talk! trey is like the frontman though that does this stuff, i love trey, but i would really like to see the other band members....it woulda been sweet if on charlie rose it was the whole band talking or something.
you know that part of the reason they are breaking up to is tension between them. Because before hiatus trey briefly said that him and mike or other band members would get in disagreements and argue and stufff...he made it sound real light, but in reality they were probably fighting sometimes.
