I'll be posting pics today or tomorrow of the three pounds that I picked from a field in South Florida. Now is the time. The drought is OVER. Good luck hunting.

peace dudes.. can't believe how many floridians are on this board. it was the same at the news group i just came from.
i'm in south florida and need just a hint in the right direction.
like, from Fort Lauderdale say, how long must one drive to find suitable hunting grounds?
30 minutes?
2 hours?
mostly north? or west?

Found another 1.7 pounds today at a new field that I just wanted to pop into. I also found *Pan. Tropicalis*. Pics to follow. Peace all.

Shroomleperchaun Panaeolus tropicalis is not known to grow in florida what you found would have to be panaeolus cyanescens.

i live next to a field in south florida and yesterday i got 25 cubes within 10 minutes with two friends helping me. thank god for the rain.

ok well i am just visiting florida for a month and a couple days... i leave august 16th :smile: and :frown:. sad to leave the mushrooms , glad to go to my friends in maryland... but anyways i dont know where naples and tampa are in location wise... i'd have to look at a map or something. i am in North Fort Myers... we'll go from there... just a thought...
