Dancing is great.. not to say I'm much good at it, but to hell with what it looks like to someone else watchin'. It ain't done for pay, I'm doing it 'cause it's a fantastic way to spontaneously engage the music I might be listening to!  Movin' to the groovin' :sun:

hey man, i don't think i can dance too well, but i've had a lot of girls/ladies and a few guys getting up in age come up to me and say they enjoyed watching me dance :shrug:

Even if you aren't good at it, who cares. Getting past the whole 'self conscious about your dancing' thing is awesome, and once you've done that, you're pretty much garenteed to have a good time. Unless you just really suck at having fun.

my roomate and I dance around our apartment to our own beat-boxes all the time, it's very much fun.

when people come over and we randomly jump into it (the dances come out of nowhere, we just start sparatically) they're all like "what the fucK?"

Booya!  Twice now at the House of Blues, I've gone up to the dining room at the end of the set (which is coincidently near the bathrooms and on the way to the smoking deck), and complimented band members and singers on their awesome performances.  With big smiles and a friendly touch, I'm often told that its people like me who just let loose out on the floor that help inspire the performers to have fun doing what they're doing. 

It's a win-win situation! :yesnod:

And if it's rock and roll, I figure I ought not sit still or I may as well have just stayed home and listened to a CD or DVD of my favorite group! :wink:

Of course, there are exceptions - I've had a few shows where I've been influenced by some magic molecules which had me too introspective to think about moving myself... but most often these days, I try to keep serious psychedelic use to controlled private environments. :toomuchacid:

Dancing is awesome, but dancing on acid is better. :grin:
You can put so much creativity into your dance on acid that it feels like you've become one with the music. I love dancing on E too.

Can't wait to see Paradox live this weekend. He's definitely one of my favorite artists and I'm going to drop some acid and pop few pills. :crazy2:

I still have a small scar on my hand from dancing at a rave and smashing into something buy accident.. this was like 10 years ago

You'll rarely catch me dancing noadays... only when I'm at a place with some really really good deep house music and I got a couple drinks in me

i like dancing too. i specialize in different kinds of dance though, all the "exotic" kinds - pole dance, bellydance, burlesque, go-go etc
