I looked up Xanax on my health insurance website to see about some information and came upon this....

What drug(s) may interact with alprazolam extended-release tablets?

Do not take Alprazolam with any of the following:
•alcohol
•grapefruit juice
•ketoconazole
•itraconazole
•some medicines for HIV infection or AIDS

why no grapefruit juice? anyone know? It doesn't say why on the site.
