Doherty visited by RSPCA over cocaine cat?
Pete Doherty has been reportedly visited by officers from the RSPCA investigating allegations that he gave drugs to his cat.
Earlier this year friends of the Babyshambles frontman leaked a picture of the incident to The Sun, which appeared to show the rocker holding a miniature crack cocaine pipe against the creature's mouth.
The pictures were printed in September and followed an incident last August in which the cat - named Dinger - was rushed to a clinic after being found to have ingested cocaine. Advertisement
Jake Foir, Doherty's producer, told the Sunday Mirror: "The RSPCA came last week, so this week they've been getting posh cat food from [supermarket chain] Waitrose."

RSPCA visits Doherty over cat concern?
A friend of Pete Doherty has said he was visited by RPSCA officers investigating reports he gave drugs to his cat.
Producer Jake Foir told the Sunday Mirror Doherty was treating his pet to superior supermarket food following the inspection.
He explained: "The RSPCA came last week, so this week they've been getting posh cat food from Waitrose."
It follows reports that cocaine was found in the blood of one of his kittens and that he gave crack to his cat Dinger.

DOHERTY VISITED BY ANIMAL AUTHORITIES
BABYSHAMBLES frontman PETE DOHERTY has been visited by animal welfare authorities amid reports he forced his pet cat to smoke crack cocaine. Friends leaked a picture of the incident to British newspaper The Sun in September (07), which showed the rocker appearing to hold a miniature pipe against the creature's mouth. The 28-year-old singer has vowed to remain clean after pictures emerged of him injecting heroin last month (Nov07) - but the Royal Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) is still closely monitoring the pet's health after it was rushed to a clinic and found to have ingested cocaine in August (07). Jake Foir, Doherty's music producer, says, "The RSPCA came last week, so this week they've been getting posh cat food from (supermarket chain) Waitrose."

The Babyshambles frontman - who was photographed seemingly forcing one of his kittens to smoke cocaine - is now treating his pet Dinger and her kittens to the very best cuisine, revealed music producer Jake Foir.
Foir told NME magazine: "I just spent a weekend with him. Just me, him and the cats. He was on top form and they were fine.
"The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) came round the other day, actually. They inspected all of the cats and agreed there was nothing wrong with them at all.
"He has even been feeding them gourmet cat food from Waitrose!"
The wild rocker's cat Dinger gave birth to five kittens in April, one of which reportedly became so addicted to crack cocaine it even began suffering withdrawal symptoms.
A source said at the time: "Pete thinks it's hilarious to get it wasted. He even made a mini-crack pipe out of a bottle so it can get the maximum hit.
"But the kitten is getting really bad withdrawal symptoms. It has lost some of its balance and takes huge risks jumping over things that are too high. It thinks it can fly. It's really distressing to see."
On Tuesday (27.11.07), Foir revealed Pete has secretly been recording a solo album.
He claimed the 28-year-old star has penned 12 songs for the LP, three of which they have already recorded in the studio.

Weird, every kitten I've had must have been addicted to freebased cocain.
I wonder what my one that would run into the sliding glass patio door to pounce on birds repeatedly was on....
