A photo that apparently shows British rocker Pete Doherty offering his kitten crack cocaine is making the rounds, the Sun reported Friday.

A friend of the admitted drug addict and Babyshambles frontman is reportedly upset the singer deliberately gets his pet stoned.

Doherty's cat Dinger -- which is slang for syringe -- had five kittens in April.

One in particular has borne the brunt of his drug abuse. Pete thinks it's hilarious to get it wasted, the friend told the Sun. He even made a special mini-crack pipe out of a bottle so it can get the maximum hit. But the kitten is starting to get really bad withdrawal symptoms. It has lost some of its balance and takes huge risks jumping over things that are too high. It thinks it can fly. It's really distressing to see.

The RSPCA told the Sun of the disturbing picture: It is hard to launch an investigation into possible abuse from just a photograph. There needs to be more evidence.

The 28-year-old recording artist is now in rehab. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 2 to be sentenced for possessing crack, heroin, ketamine and cannabis.

Thats just really really fucked up. I mean damn man. Ive blown pot smoke in my cats face a few times, but crack.. damn man thats just mean.

In my youth, we got a cat high on foileys one time. and the cat turned out fine, but we all felt really bad for doing it. later on in the cats life, it became a big time pot head though.

One time I took a feeder mouse and put a coke rock in it's mouth the biggest that would fit probably equaled his brain in size. Anyways he drowned himself in his water bowl.

I have known a chain smoking cat lady who's cats went into withdraws because she quit and they weren't getting their secondhand anymore. A few years ago I fed my mom's dog some resin. He liked to get stoned though. He was fucking useless for the rest of the day pretty much. That dog still loves me more than my mom. I had to stay with her for a month and I would take him for a walk as an excuse to burn so we had lots of fun together. Getting a kitten strung out on crack is a bit much...
