Ugh... Snow.... It's so cold and wet and gets through any amount of clothing and in your shoes...

There couldn't be a more irritating form of weather imo.

I don't like winter either. Everything is so cold and dead and depressing. Spring and Summer are my favorite!

Man, I must be unique.

I love winter cuz that's the time of year that I can go hunting. I love being outside in the snow and winter coldness.

I really dislike winter. Can't grow any garden plants, greenhouses become a pain in the butt (expensive), and, well, it seems like everything is dead.

Agreed. Plus, I have a harder time going hiking, or even nature walking. I cant ever go skating. And I drive a little rear wheel drive 2 seater car.

The worst is having "winter" but barely any snow. Years ago there was snow, now there's barely any, each winter. Laaame.

I agree. I've done my best to enjoy winter and not let it get to me this year, but I'm over it. The wind has been blowing for nearly 6 weeks (with half day breaks here and there of course) so to walk outside juts plain HURTS. It's probably going a smooth 25+ with gusts right now, and when it's only 35 or so to begin with...:crazy:

Everything is brown, it hurts to go outside, it's dark at 4:30 at night.

I tell you what though, it sure makes Spring and Summer a LOT more valuable to a person.:cool:

If you think nature is "dead" in the winter, you obviously haven't even tried one of those winter nature walks. Nature is thriving, to anyone who cares to look. Some things may be sleeping, but they aren't dead.

A walk in the snow, when the sky is clear and the sun shining, is an experience to remember!

haha you could easily find a place that never freezes in the lowlands but a one hours drive will get you into some frozen mountains.

Relatively speaking, winter is dead.  Summer is alive.  That's just kinda how I feel it.

I have givin' it a go a few times.  I guess I am just a complainer because I hate bundling all up to go for a walk.  I am def a sandals and t-shit kinda guy lol.

When the wind is blowing 25+, there are very few souls who can even stand to walk to their car, not to mention a walk outside for "fun".

I agree that winter can be very beautiful. Like in Cabo san Lucas:grin:

My local forecast

I was working outside this morning... it's cold but it gets so much worse.

Thursday I'm going to be outside for about 8-9 hours straight. Hopefully it isn't going to be windy; that's when it really gets bad.

I really enjoy being outside when it's a few degrees below freezing. I find it quite comfortable if I'm dressed warm. Especially on a sunny day with hoarfrost on the trees; it's beautiful.

Its freezing cold here, with winds of 35+.

I've lived in Chicago and Wisconsin all my life, so I'm pretty used to things, but I work at an airport. For me, winter is being drenched in de-icing fluid and standing out on a runway at midnight getting hit by the wind blowing unabated across the airport.

I hate winter.
