No digi cam, can I scan the mushies?

I just wanted to show off my first ever not so impressive fruits of my labor. Would the scanner get too hot and make them lose potency you think? Man I can't wait until pay day to get a digi cam!

A scanner is very brief, I don't think it wold affect the potency.

I just don't think you'll get great pics from a three dimensional object
