my symptoms (so i think i am HIV positive)

OK so i googled around looked at webmd (and a bunch of others i found) and I'm showing main signs of HIV. the reason i started looking at this stuff today is because it crossed my mind at work and now I'm scared because i hit all the main ones.

1. Rapid weight loss
2. Dry cough
3. Recurring fever or profuse night sweats
4. Profound and unexplained fatigue
5. Swollen lymph glands in the armpits, groin, or neck
6. Diarrhea that lasts for more than a week
7. White spots or unusual blemishes on the tongue, in the mouth, or in the throat
8. Pneumonia
9. Red, brown, pink, or purplish blotches on or under the skin or inside the mouth, nose, or eyelids
10. Memory loss, depression, and other neurological disorders "


so i guess my question is this (until i go in to get a test) can anyone else think off the top of their head what else could be going on with me? I'm 21, 5'10, 150lbs (i was 220 1.5years ago)

I'm just really nervous right now. i hope I'm just jumping to conclusions

well if youve had unprotected sex go get a test done, worrying about it without a test is pretty pointless

and just to go a little more into it

The following are the main HIV symptoms:

1. Rapid weight loss i was 220 1.5 years ago and now I'm 150
2. Dry cough it never goes away
3. Recurring fever or profuse night sweats i wake up every night in a sweat puddle and i run fevers allot
4. Profound and unexplained fatigue i very rarely have energy and when i do its gone quick
5. Swollen lymph glands in the armpits, groin, or necki have swollen lymph and my neck has been really hurting
6. Diarrhea that lasts for more than a weekI've never kept track but i have been thinking that a lot of my poops have been not so solid
7. White spots or unusual blemishes on the tongue, in the mouth, or in the throat i have white spots but i don't think it has to do with this
8. Pneumoniaso easy
9. Red, brown, pink, or purplish blotches on or under the skin or inside the mouth, nose, or eyelidsnose and eyelids
10. Memory loss, depression, and other neurological disorders i has never really the depressed person (takes allot to get to me) but I've found myself giving up allot and feeling sad all the time. also its hard for me to remember the order in which things happen and recalling things i was just told

this is probably the last thing i'd seek advice on from a message board...

go get tested.. it's the only thing that will set your mind right.

ya I'm going to call and make an apt. for a test today. but in the mean time just to help ease my mind a little i thought i would ask and see what else my symptoms could be.

HIV/AIDS is nothing to fuck around with! If you are even considering whether or not you have HIV, you should go get tested immediately.

dumb question. where can i go (like walk in place) where i can get a test? do they have those? i got tested in 04' but that was threw this rehab place i had to go to (i had a bottle of vodka in my locker in high school and i needed to go alcohol rehab before i was able to go back to school)

You could have a million things wrong with you. Do not use the internet to self-diagnose--it just creates huge amounts of anxiety! Every symptom could be a symptom of many diseases or conditions or it could be nothing but not taking care of yourself.

The weight loss thing makes me think you should also get checked for diabetes (type I or II). My friend lost a similar amount of weight and had a ton of other shit wrong with him and it was because he had undiagnosed type I diabetes for many years.

Those symptoms are somewhat vague. At this point in time (e.g. you haven't been tested) It's probably more relevant to consider your risk for contracting HIV in the first place.

I lost about the same amount of weight in less than a year and i think it was because i was depressed. Ive had lynph that hurt too. It seems like your clear on it. I just met a guy yesterday that said every cold he gets turns into pneumonia. depression can cause loss of memory and all those symptoms.

My feelings say you dont have it, if it counts for anything, im pretty intuitive. YOu are close to getting it tho, be careful with sexual acts And love and live.

Those symptoms could be signs of something else going on. Aside from the blotches and the long term diarrhea, I've had all of those symptoms over long periods of time because of undealt with stress.

GO TO THE DOCTOR.

You could have a lot of things. Describe your symptoms to a doctor, ask for an HIV test. Those are not symptoms to ignore. How long have you been experiencing them?
