Just plain old grass'll do. To much grain or oats or such could be detrimental to mushroom growth. looser, more acidic stool are often the result of sich a bovine diet...

most fields have big feeders for the cows to feed from. very often i throw all my buggy caps in there,.. keep all the stems. the cows eat them and it almost quadrouples mushroom production.

two bags; one for the buggy cubes and one for the fresh ones.
