Pearl Oysters - Need laundry basket fruiting parameter help!!

I've got a laundry basket of pasteurized straw fully colonized with Pearl Oyster mycelium (Pleurotus ostreatus, var. columbinus) for 10 days now. Couldn't be more heavily colonized if it tried!! Its absolutely snow-white beautiful, smells clean, like it should - no sign whatsoever of contams, but, no primordia, either. I had hoped and expected to have a nice crop of Oysters available for Thanksgiving. Not looking too good on the timing anymore (woe is me!) unless I get some quick help.
I can't put the basket outside for FAE as it is frigid here. Inside temps available are more or less room temperature (68 F) down to maybe 58 - 60 if I put it in the kitchen window. My understanding is that fruiting should occur between 45 - 65 F. Light is not an issue - I can supply whatever natural sunlight is necessary.
Why isn't my basket fruiting??? Opinions??? Suggestions??? Can supply pix if that would help. Thanks in advance, N.B.

I am a n00b as well, but I just grew out a few small blocks of pearl oyster. My RR video's are not here yet so I just winged it with a lot of questions to this forum. I mostly focused on making sure humidity was high with some occasional FAE in my monotub while I waited for the blocks to pin. Took 5 days after I moved the bags from my incubator to tub to initiate fruiting with lots of light. Every day I checked and nothing, then all of a sudden they were everywhere. After I first noticed the pins it was another 6 days before I picked them, and during that time I focused more on FAE and let humidity suffer a bit.
Hope that helps and good luck.

You want near saturation humidity, lots of air exchange, and very bright light. Try wrapping plastic around the basket as a humidity tent, but raise it up for fresh air a few times daily. Place it in direct sunlight for a few minutes each day. That often will kick them into pinning. RR
