Have you seen a doctor? I would recommend it.

No. To be honest I don't trust my doctor, or the profession in general, so I doubt that I will.

Well we don't have much of a solution unfortunately. Eyedrops are the best I can suggest, but your eyes are very specialized light capturing instruments, so it'd be best to see a doctor whether you trust them or not.

I got stung by a bumblebee just below my eyebrow and while I bathed it in a stream I spied some black walnut hulls. I don't know why I did it but I massaged the walnut hulls into the sting and immediately regretted it because the pain intensified.

I'll cross walnut hulls off the list. How about pistachios?

bug said: A few (4-5) years ago while playing basketball a hornet swooped down from its nest in my hoop and stung me in my right eye. I think it actually hit the white of my eye, or just above it, and my whole eyelid and the area surrounding swole up really large.
Since then I've never been able to open my right eye as wide as my left. You can tell in pictures of me, it's actually pretty funny.
The weird thing is, the swelling seems to come back at weird times, like something was permanently altered and it can be triggered by physiological changes. While I was in Cancun for my senior high school spring break, I binge drank for a week straight, and it was like all that poisoning of my body caused the sting to come back - on the last day, I woke up and my eye was as big as the day it was stung!
I have frequent eye irritation, I guess it's from allergies, and last night I was rubbing my eyes a lot. I rubbed both of them an equal amount but when I woke up this morning, my right eye was absolutely CAKED in goo so that I couldn't even open it without peeling layers away. It's still swollen, my eye itself is red, and the lid will barely open.
Does anyone have any experience with anything like this? Certain kinds of eye drops (the expensive natural kind at stores like Whole Foods and organic co-ops) seem to be the only remedy.
marijuana supposedly is anti-inflammatory. you could make a tincture and rub it on the eye but you have to figure out a way to make ticture without alcohol for obvious reasons because i don't know how and dont wanna make you blind. think about it! marijuana eye drops, your eyes would probably get hella bloodshot and you might see tracers
