Serious Flea Problem please help!
    #7603998 -

Ive never had fleas before and have an indoor cat who only has access to the third story balcony but nowhere else. Somehow hes gotten fleas and their fucken unrelenting and rampant Ive tried the flea shampoo, bio spot, I fogged my house with flea foggers and that seemed to make the populations go down for like a DAY and now their coming back again. I really don't want to have to get rid of the cat what else can I do or try? Ive heard something about a dip or something thats really strong but know nothing about it but would be skeptical of any results based off seeing how the shampoo works.

first, you need to get rid of the fleas on the cat and in your apartment. give the cat a flea bath then get some frontline to put on the cat. flea bomb your apartment again and you should be okay.

i recommend getting frontline instead of anything else because in my experience, it works the best.

shit i lived in an apt for a month this summer with intense fleas. it was fucked up.

there wasn't even a cat or anything when we lived there.. what we did was just set off a shitload of bombs and then vaccuum after each bomb. that didn't really abate the onslaught of fleas, so i bought a can of some flea spray and just sprayed the fuck outta the carpets and vaccuumed.

really.. there's not a cheap way to get rid of fleas at least if you had em as bad as we did.

just bomb the shit out of it (make sure that you set off enough bombs and do it in every room) and if that doesn't work, then get the spray and spray it on the carpet, furniture, fuckin everything.

good luck. i shudder to think back on those fleas and shit. first time i found out there were fleas was when my girl was cookin dinner and i sat on the couch to watch some astros and my feet start feelin weird i look down at 'em and they are damn near covered with fleas and sores. i almost went bat shit crazy living there that month.

i put a bottle of flea spray for dogs (not the shampoo) in with the water/rug cleaner stuff in a steam cleaner. steam cleaned the room, sprayed the furniture with the same stuff, gave the cats revolution. never had a problem since.

I have to suggest also getting an exterminator to come in and do the job.

I knew a person who had cats and lots of fleas, and she tried and tried but never could. I think even if she could have gotten the cats to cooperate in giving them baths, she still wouldn't have gotten rid of them.

I think fleas might have become more resistant to bug bombs, sprays etc. like misquitos.

Get an exterminator with a garauntee, pay the higher price, and never worry about it again.
