My trippy furniture art

Here is some of the furniture art I've made using soft pastel and semi-hard pastel chalk. Sealed with hairspray and 4coats polyurethane.

Nice effect on the top of the piece with the leaves (?), where the strokes fan out. The streaking on the top of the first blue table is a nice effect too.

I tried selling a couple pieces on eBay but no buyers (plenty of watchers though). I'd want about $125 or more for the blue endtable, like $200 for the coffee table.

I figure I'll just keep making it and eventually advertise at consignment art shops. I probably should make a website for it too...

Go to a school and get a contract to make 30 desks for kids. I'll bet they'd love some of this stuff in their boring old classrooms.

Really like that first blue table. Wish I had an eBay account. :P
