every time i shroom i have fun but i always get a real bad pain under my belly button and above my pubes..along the waistband this is not a stomach ache or nausea. this is full blown pain
mushrooms are toxic no? could this be my bladder or liver being damaged. I am taking lots of prescription drugs which can also do damage... maybe this is all adding up?. I should talk to my doctor but i dont want to tell him about shrooms... and i dont want cancer

im sorry to hear about this dude :/ sometimes after i trip pretty hard i get massive headaches the morning after, but i am fine the following day. if this is a continuing problem i would suggest a break from the cubes just to make sure your body is getting enough recovery. It may just be your body doesn't agree with them, and is trying to tell you exactly that. but yea if you feel its serious, i would see a doctor, i dont want to see my fellow shroomers getting sick/having health problems. i do actually care about everyones well being on here. more then my own even >< haha you can always make a comeback when you're ready i hope you feel better, and i wish you better experiences in the future

is it all along your waist. Is it oriented horizntally or vertically? Sometimes I get bad pain in my belly button that runs down towards my bladder. It gets worse when I stretch too. idk what it is but u could have the same thing as me. oh btw it has happened when I trip, but it has also happened sober so I dont know what to attribute it to. It seems like ever since I took up yoga a couple months ago it hasnt bothered me since. idk waever

do you grow your own? maybe its time to use a different strain or a different (trusted) source. If that isnt the issue, Its probably not liver damage, but stop using anyways. You could be having a bad reaction with one of the compounds in the mushrooms.

My pain feels like my skin is stretched so tight it is about to rip. i think it is more of a phisological problem then chemical which means ur liver is fine, i dont know why the mushrooms would cause this though but it seemed to have happened more when i trip.
if that is the feeling you get then i recommend doing some abdominal stretches when it gets to feeling better. i know exactly how it feels, but ever since i started yoga it hasnt bothered me. i have no idea what it is but i am very curious to find out. my guess would be your tissue simply losing elasticity, but i have no idea.

Talk about some lousy information. Psilocybe cubensis are NOT toxic (unless you have a pre-existing allergy or something), and anyone who has been visiting the Shroomery for ANY amount of time should already know that. It is not a poison, and its not poison that gets you "fucked up". SHEESH.

yah..but poisons are usually drugs that induce effects through the breakdown of normal bodily functions...alcohol, huffing paint, etc..
other drugs are chemicals that act without disrupting bodily functions for the time being

It's not "toxic", by anyones definition.
As a comparison, LSD (a very similar drug to psilocybin) is only about half as toxic as things like caffeine and aspirin. Everything has a toxic dose and becomes a "poison" after a certain amount. Some things remain a "poison" no matter how small of a dose you take...psilocybin is not one of those.
Psilocybin (and other "drugs") is not toxic up to a certain dose - that means that you aren't doing yourself any harm by taking it (as long as you take a sub-toxic dose).
Oh, and just for thought...the toxic dose of psilocybin is though to be many grams of the pure substance. Thats about your body weight in dry mushrooms

Very few prescription meds are in the "toxic" range, and those that are only have uses in cancer and AIDS therapies (when you're already going to die, it doesn't matter as much if they give you something that's toxic).
Now, something can be non-toxic and still have side effects. What prescription meds are you on?
To be honest, this sounds like intestinal distress brought on by eating something that is hard to digest (mushrooms). Nothing bad.

My second guess would be a side effect of the proton pump inhibitors you're taking.

No problem, eh!
The one thing you said (that mushrooms are toxic) is one of the most widely repeated myths about the mushroom. Now you know! So the next time you hear this myth, correct them!

This sounds like a bladder infection.
Your liver is under your right ribcage and covered 50% by it.
Under your belly button and above your pubic area is the bladder.
You might just have a common bladder irritation, go buy some Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, as it will flush out the urine track in the body.

The answer is usually within the question.
Once the fungi enters the body, it now becomes conscious to all of the bodies' ailments. It is not the mushroom my brother, it is the mushroom trying to tell you something about these Pharmaceuticals. My guess is these Meds are targeting that specific area and are beginning to do some damage; the mushroom is just warning you.
PS. The doctor will more in likely deny the Prescriptions as being the problem. However, you know your body better than he does... so does the mushroom.
